Amazing Mouse

Had always used Microsoft mice for eyars until i had two of the same model go dead on me within months of each other. I opted for a logitech on the advice of a colleague and i am not disappointed with this mouse. It may cost a little more than your average mouse but it is so comfortable to use all day and also the added buttons once programed to do other tasks make life so much easier. This mouse is a pleasure to use! The receiver is so small i am scared of losing it. There is no way anyone can build a smaller receiver than this one as it barely sticks out of the usb port! Works well on OS X, just need to download the extra software from logitech's site to program the extra buttons.

A great little mouse!

It's not the cheapest mouse on the market, but it's the best laptop mouse I've had by far. I can leave the transmitter plugged in the laptop permanently and the laser mouse will operate well on almost any surface including the duvet of my bed. The transmitter is so small it could be easy to lose, but fortunately there is a place to store it safely it inside the mouse and it comes with a nice zip up mouse cover too . It runs off an AAA battery, I'm using the original one that came with it which has lasted a couple of months so far with regular usage, will probably move onto rechargeables when it runs out. Never loses it connection and the scroll wheel is great for flipping through big documents once you've got used to it. I recommend it to any laptop user. It also works well with my Linux powered Asus EEE.

What a little Beauty!

This mouse is a small piece of absolute genius!

Over recent years I have become quite a fan of Logitech products. Unlike other companies they put a visible effort into really perfecting the design of a product before marketing it rather than just 'making do'.

The key reason for buying this was the tiny receiver, and having used it I have no regrets in spending 36 quid on it. The receiver lives permanently in the USB port of my laptop. The mouse has an On/Off button so it doesn't waste battery life. Though even when left on, it uses so little power that the switch doesn't seem so important. I've been using this for 10weeks and setpoint (the logitech software)tells me the batteries are still at over 80%.

I haven't a single complaint about this product. Aside from the wireless aspect, its a brilliant mouse in itself. I couldn't reccomend it more.

I agree with the previous reviewer that this mouse is not exactly the cheapest on the market. However, I trust Logitech and I have the VX Revolution, which both influenced the purchase of the Nano. It is an excellent mouse. I use it with my ASUS EEE on Windows XP and it works perfectly. Excellent delivery time also ebuyer!

Good Mouse

I bought one of these couple of months ago not from eBuyer though (I wish I had= cheaper) and use it for my desktop. I used to use a Microsoft 300 laptop mouse which is tiny, but wanted something with a few more buttons for BF2. I chose this one as I can't stand the size of a full size mouse they seem really sluggish to me, and the Microsoft one was slightly on the small size, this one is perfect for me. I had to think carefully about spending this amount on just a mouse but I wanted one that would last a long time, and so far it has been great. I have had to change the batteries once, which was a couple of days ago, I use my PC pretty much all day every day so the batteries have lasted around 4 months in constant use- there is a red light that comes on on the mouse to let you know it's near the end of the battery so it doesn't just go when you're doing something important. Everything about this mouse is great, I am using it without the Setpoint drivers- they just seem to take up RAM, and make the mouse seem slower, so I just use the basic drivers to get it working, I just had to turn the sensitivity in Windows down as the cursor moves a lot faster than my old Microsoft mouse, and a higher sensitivity means less accuracy. The wireless adapter's size is great, but didn't make a difference to me as I use for desktop, it is very comfortable to use all day and night with good quality clicking buttons and rubber grips on the side which is more useful than you think if you get sweaty hands on a hot day (or intense gaming) the only fault I have with this is that I wish they had some sort of mini-usb port on the front of the mouse so you could plug and play if you had no batteries but apart from that nitpick I have no regrets spending 40 on this mouse at all

Stunning

This is a brilliant mouse!

The receiver is so tiny you start by wondering if it will ever work, but it does, and extremely well! I've not had any loss of performance, no jitters and no incorrect movements.

The freely rotating wheel takes a bit of getting used to, but for scrolling through large documents it makes it effortless.

Fantastic mouse for laptop users.

What a crackin little mouse.

I wouldnt have normally bought Logitech items, opting for Microsoft usually, but no-one did a receiver as small as this. You hardly notice its plugged into the laptop whereas one of the bigger ones would easily get hit.

The mouse function is smooth and it is very confortable to use, even for long periods.

I have been very impressed with this and whilst it is a little expensive it is a great mouse thats fits neatly into your hand. I'll be considering one for the desktop when that needs renewing!

Quite simply the best mouse i've ever used

Fantistic build quality and brilliant feel. Do not be put off by the fact this is a small mouse, you never notice when using it.

Intresting Features:

Comes with a zip-up bag to protect it; a mouse wheel with two different modes (ratchet and free wheel) it is also metal; the nano reciver is VERY small and fits inside the battery compartment when not in use, turning the mouse off.

The battery life is great, powered off two AAA batteries, of which two Duracell are supplied so no cut backs there. I've had mine a few months now and I've only just replaced the batteries with some rechargeable ones.

I'm using mine with my Dell XPS M1530, which has two USB ports on the left side and one on the right. The one on the right was useless with other mice and peripherals because the cable got in the way of the mouse, but with the VX Nano this isn't a problem at all.

It is very sensitive, but VERY precise. It takes about 5 minutes to get used too after having a bog standard mouse, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. It only needs to be moved about 2 inches to get the pointer all the way across the screen, and it works on alot of surfaces this is great for normal use or in tight spaces, but for games (particulaly FPS games as I prefer a lower sensitivity, which is the oposite of the norm', so thats probably just me).

My only gripe is that there is no auto-off unless you put the reciver into the slot in the mouse. You can use the power button to turn it off, but if you forget to do this, even powering the computer off dosn't turn it off.

Overall it's a great looking and well disgned mouse with excellent build quiality and features, I will defantly be buying Logitech agian. Forget the fairly heafty price tag, it's worth every penny.
