Silent, cheap, and quite easy to fit (ATI AIW 9800 Pro)

My 2 year-old PC sounded like a fan heater. Tried the Scythe Ninja on the CPU but found that in fact the graphics card causing more noise. Bit of a fiddle to detach the leads from the card and remove the original fan but once done fitting this cooler was reasonably straight forward. Just fits the All-in-Wonder card but tight. Don't overtighten the screws though as I managed to break one. Completely silent so now only the dull hum of the case and power-supply fans. Much better.

got this for my nvidia 8600 gt which came with a stock fan that was stuck on 100% all the time. Although the S2 doesnt mention its compatible with the 8600 it seems to fit fine (check out the install diagram at artic cooling's website).

I took off the old cooler on my card, cleaned up the chip and installed this. Little fiddly with lineing up the screws and clips etc (might just be my fat fingers!). Now my card runs cooler, even under load and i dont have the constant hum of the stock fan, my pc is so quite now i have to check the power light on the front to make sure its still switched on!

Sonata 3 case with 1x120mm 1300rpm fan.

Silent & Cheap (Nvidia 5900)

Nice product that just does what it's meant to do.

Fairly easy to fit, the support clips are a little fiddly, after you have taken the old cooler off the graphics card.

Keeps my lightly over clocked Nvidia 5900 working silently.

This is really something. I bought this for my gforce 8500gt. I get around 46C when its idle, and when i play games it goes just above 50C, outperforming my old stock cooler, which used to go up to 60C.

This is without using any additional fans for the gfx card, meaning it is totally silent.

Well worth the money, easy to install, and the PC is now barely a whisper!

A little bit of a chance as to if it would fit or not but it does fit and is cooler than stock and silent too! must be the cheapest and best solution for the quiet enthusiast.

Fits Perfectly On 8600GT

This is an excellent passive cooler, im getting idle tempatures of 50c, and 60 to 70c underload.

It is exceptionally fiddly to install and you will have to use the instructions. If you intend to use this on an 8600 use holes three on the mounting bracket.

Nice and Quiet....

Bought this to replace the stock cooler on a X850pro which has been unlocked to a X850XT.

With the stock cooler GPU idled at 35 degrees, with this cooler it idles around 38. Considering this is fanless and my case ventilation goes for silence rather than high airflow this is great.

I used to run the fan on the stock cooler at 9% so wasnt sure how much of a differnece this would make but all I can hear from my case now is the hum of the PSU so am very happy with it.

Was a little fiddly to fit but only took about 15mins and looks great in the case.

My old fan on my X850XT was a noisy as a neighbours party! Looking for a quiet cooler and this caught my eye.

Very simple to install, as long as you follow the instructions and from start to finish only took about 10mins.

Had to check i had actually switched my pc on after refitting!

Buy it, you wont be disappointed
