Great Machine
os:
Windows XPThis a fantastic piece of kit.
Runs like a dream.
The onboard graphics is pretty good... can probably run vista no problems, I know it runs World of Warcraft at full whack, so it can't be that bad!
Word of warning though, check the product compatibility on the shuttle website before buying your bits and bobs to put in... as I got an extra graphics card to use on this machine, and found out it didn't work because it was not on the support list...
http://global.shuttle.com/support_list03.jsp?PI=647
Latest drivers and stuff here too...

All in all though... this baby should be fine for a good few years before I need to upgrade again. :)
A few points to look out for...
os:
Not ApplicableThe machine is excellent first of all. 2 things to point out however...
Ebuyer specs, it does NOT include ANY PS2 mouse/keyboard sockets. It is entirely reliant on USB which is fine for most people but dont expect to use your old mouse and keyboard on it.
You do not need a CPU heatsink. The heatsink is all part of the package. It uses a number of heat pipes to transfer the heat away to the rear of the case* where a reasonable sized fan chucks the heat out the back, this is the only fan for the case (apart from a small 40mm fan for the power supply)
This means the computer runs very quietly indeed ticking over at 43 degrees core temp on a 5600+ Dual Core.
Another point is that if you buy some nice cheap ebuyer extra value ram for this beast it won't always see the speed correctly. I got some ddr2 6400 ram from ebuyer (800mhz) and the bios only saw it as 667mhz ram, so you have to set the speed manually. Once thats set it works fine and the shuttle tools software confirms that the ram is working at and is rated at 800mhz.
Remember that its built in graphics for this unit and will use 128mb of memory from the ram for its graphics so if you have 2gb of ram in the unit windows will only see it as 1.87gb as some of it is used for the graphics.
Very small and very light, good easy and quick install, windows xp crashed once on install and needed to be restarted after that worked fine since.
Beast!
os:
Windows XPTeam this up with a BE-2350 (45W, OCs at least 35% on standard volts) and cheap DDR2-1066 or gamers DDR2-800 and this will fly!
Both voltage and frequency can be adjusted, with seperate bus and chip 1MHz increments, although I would recommend underclocking cheap 1066Mem as this mobo does not like to allow you to set 'low speed' RAM at a higher rating, even if the RAM is stable, and best results are always at bus=CPU=RAM frequency.
Onboard graphics does appear to be an NVidia 6100, which is fine for Vista and just about OK for Doom3 (or Sims2).
I expect to use an ATI 3850 in mine, and with that processor the power should work nicely, but have yet to try this out: if anyone tries this over Xmas, please post reviews.
As with all Shuttle systems, build qualily is good at worst, and they look like a dream, although this one is a smidge girlie, with a raised lip around the front facia and slightly retro silver on black - I prefer the ones with the transparent overlay on the facia.
If you need to take it anywhere buy a 15 quid bag for it from aria.co.uk, as eBuyer never seem to have them.
This one also has an incredibly handy external SATA connector at the back, great for backup etc..
Highly recommended.
OnBoard Graphics
os:
Windows XPAs stated in the title onboard graphics are NVidia 7025 Chipset which use system memory but are perfect for Vista & multimedia systems.
If you want a gaming rig then buy X1950pro, HD380pro or NV8800GT - despite what each says on the box/spec.s they all have decent max. power draw, are great bang for buck, and fit.
Graphics
Does this model have on board graphics capable of running vista,as I need this more as a media center pc,or can anyone advise a suitable graphics card that would cover my needs.
Poor system
os:
Windows XPI bought two and returned both due to random freezing problems and cold post (cold boot up) issues. Both machines utter rubbish but fine once you get them to start up
Perhaps I was unlucky but i'd buy the dearer Intel version
Graphics
If your looking for an ATI card then try the X1950PRO
As for Nvidia i'm not quite sure which would fit in ok
Which AMD CPU are you running?
