Very Impressive

Not ApplicableWell, this is a silent and well built cycle, Mine was a nice cool looking black, it consists of a solid metal inner frame and wheel inside the case.
There is a metal wheel inside the case with a friction band for resistance, adjustable by a knob on the front, it is completely silent and does not emit any clicks, clonks or squeaks.
Though squeaks would mean it needs a little oil, but mine came well oiled.
The Construction was a matter of using the supplied key and spanner/screwdriver to screw in 2 bolts on each stand part, and screw the two pedals into the solid metal frame.
It goes from no resistance at all to quite hard to move, even when using your arms for someone who lifts weights.
A very solid piece of kit, with a nice little computer displaying the time, speed, calories and distance in kilometers or cycle through them all as you go, as well as a nice speed meter.
Not the cheap plastic construction of many cycles I have seen and used, that deteriorate quite rapidly, slip due to inferior plastic frame construction and become unusable for any serious workout quite rapidly.
I was quite surprised by the build quality and rock solid construction considering the price.

Not ApplicableI was pleasantly surprised by the weight, sturdiness and quality of this piece of kit considering the price.
I was only expecting a very basic pedal system, and while the variable tension uses a simple friction concept, the build quality, clear manual, included tools and the handy computer make this a pretty good buy.
I tried it as a standard exercise bike with my feet and it gives a moderate workout. But using your arms with the tension right up really gets the blood pumping.
