BT Verve 500 Silver Single Cordless Handset with Answer phone, SMS Text Facility, Colour Screen and SIM Reader

The BT Verve 500 DECT answering machine is fully GAP compatible, with up to 255 name and number directory. It has a SIM card reader/writer, Caller ID with 30 number calls list , is hands free, with a clock, date and call timer. It also has conference call capabilities, call transfer between handsets and 12 hours of talk time, 120 hours standby time with 28 minutes digital recording time. There is a two-way recording playback through the base or the handset with screening memo message time and day stamp. A variable answer delay and time saver is optional.

*In order to see your texts or who is calling you, you will need to subscribe to the BT Caller Display Service which is available when you sign up to www.bt.com/btprivacy BT residential customers making some calls on the BT network can opt in to receive Caller Display at no extra charge, subject to availability. Analogue lines only. Numbers will not be registered if the call is from payphones, some switchboards, and non-BT networks or where a caller's number is withheld. If the phone you are texting isn't text-enabled, the text will be converted and sent as a voice message. Please note that the text function is NOT compatible with BT Broadband Talk.
This phone is GAP compatible and is available as either a single or a twin, so that you can have a phone in more than one room of the house without having to add anymore phone sockets! When sold together, e.g. a twin (contains 2 phones), they are already set-up to work from one telephone socket. If you purchase an additional (GAP compatible) handset, there is a short and simple process, outlined in the product user guide (included with your phone), to link your new handset to your existing telephone system.
