A very good value unit!!!

I've had this unit now just under a week, and I'm very impressed. For the price, you do get alot of stereo for your money, well worth the price.

A couple of issues I have with it though. First up, the screen is to small to read the print and there seems to be no way of increasing the font size. I bought this to play MP3 DVD's. So you cannot read the song title when skipping through the folders or tracks.

Second is a small design flaw with the USB connection. The rubber dust stopper, pops out and is hinged at the top. When a USB device is plugged straight into it, it tends to push on the fascia release button and then it folds down. An easy fix with a USB extender cable.

Appart from that its an excellent unit. The value outways both those issues. Loads of connections ,1 x USB input, 1 x Aux input, 2 x coax audio outputs(front and rear)1 x sub output, 1 x video outputs and 1 x video inputs, and the fact I now have 37 DVD discs with avg. 500MP3's per disc in the car.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting a head unit that can play MP3's. Just dont get it to watch DVD's on, unless you get some monitors for the supplied video output. :)

Cheap and cheerful

bought this a couple of weeks ago, standard installation, has tonnes of outputs, 4 RCA and one dedicated sub out put.

looks good in any car especially as you get to run video of CD / DVD / USB. it also comes with a Video input and a video output (so you can out put to a larger screen)

downside is this: it is a DVD player modified to a car unit, meaning the text is perfect if you were watching it on a TV screen at home and therefore if you shrink the size, you end up with very tiny track names and details. It is annoying as you can not see what sound track is in your playlist as the text is so small, however the radio text is nice and clear. the remote has many buttons but the next track button works backwards.

I have placed tracks in folder but the system does not show folders instead a long list of track, ver awkward if you put 10's or hundreds of track on a usb and need to find one song.

overall sound is brillian, tonnes of output, lovely little screen and fun to watch music video or DVD movies (when you are parked), which reminds me, after standard intsallation the screen will work but will not show video until you connect the 'handbrake cable' to the hand brake. This can be confusing but basically the device wants to know that the vehicle is stationary for you to watch video. i googled this and found that apparantley it can be connected to any earth signal.

any way hope this helps
