Vistron PDVD-02 7" Portable DVD/ Divx Player

Not ApplicableWanted a budget portable player which could cope with DVD-Rs. This seems to play anything, which is normally reserved for much more expensive players. I got it yesterday, free postage, ordered Monday night, came Wednesday morning - excellent.
Easy to use, charged the battery, and that evening I was sat watching a movie with the player on my lap, whilst my wife watched Coronation St on the tele - perfect. Very compact and weighs little, even with the battery pack attached.
Cannot complain about anything. The sound is good, the picture is bright. It does feel a bit flimsy, but it does the job, and I don't plan on throwing it about.

Not Applicableplays virtually everything thrown at it very nicely. the battery is on the large size and should've read a review or the list of details lack of car charger has made this useless for me as its only going to be used for the car - shame.
if going on short journeys or just taking this away somewhere its fab. thanks to ebuyer for the quick delivery!

Windows XPVery happy with this. Yes it's a bit flimsy but at this price what can you expect.
Pity there is only one AV cable supplied as I could have done with an input and output.
In answer to someone; the pause shows a still for a short period (maybe 1-2 mins) then the dvd logo bounces round the screen.

Not ApplicableWas a bit reluctant in buying this product at the beggining as there were hardly any rewiews online about it.
One other thing is that the battery is about 2 hrs fully charged when most other dvd-players are about 2.5
Also makes a lot of sound when it spins the disk!!! until it reads the contents.
However up to now it had played everything I ve throwed in it!!
DVD - DIVX - XVID - MP3 u name it!! it plays almos everything and the sound is loud and also has got zoom function that some other more expensive models dont.
Overall i am happy about my purchase however i would like to be able able to buy a separate battery pack for long trips.

Im interested in buying a couple of these. Does anyone know if car chargers can be purchased for them??
Q. Pause facility
Hi When you pause the picture on this does it stay visible or does the machine go into standby and put up the dvd logo? My mum wants a player you can pause and view the still.

Can it play subtitles with divx/avi files from *.txt file?
If yes, does it support central european fonts?
