can it record two channels at once while recording a third like some pvr's?
Is this digital?
Look's impressive, but it does not say whether it has digital freeview built in - it does not have the freeview or 'digital tick' logos anywhere. Unfortunately it becomes a lot less impressive if it doesn't...

I can confirm that there is no Digital Tuner - so no freeview.
VISTRON HDD_DVD RECORDER
JUST TO CLEAR THINGS UP THIS IS NOT A FREVIEW DEVICE IT HAS AN ANALOGUE TUNER,
IT WILL NOT RECORD ONE STATION WHILE WATCHING ANOTHER.
IT IS A HDD RECORDER AND A DVD RECORDER-REWRITER, IT'S JUST LIKE HAVING TWO ITEMS THAT YOU HAVE BOUGHT SEPARATELY AND CONNECTED BY CABLES, EXCEPT THESE ARE IN ONE DEVICE.(LIKE A VCR-DVD COMBI)
THE DIFFERENCE IS YOU CAN TRANSFER FROM THE HARD DRIVE ON THIS DIRECTLY TO A DISC ON THE DVD WRITER-REWRITER-PLAYER.
SO NO FREEVIEW FOLKS YOU'LL NEED THAT FUNCTION ELSEWHERE.
I HAVE MANAGED TO WATCH ANOTHER CHANNEL WHILE TRANSFERRING FROM HDD TO DVD JUST BY VIEWING THE SKY THAT IS SUPPLIED VIA SCART.

Does anyone know where I can find a full spec on this? Does it have series record? more than one channel record? what is the screen interface like? The Vistron website http://www.vistron.com.sg/ was last updated in 2004 so is no help at all! A pdf of the manual would be a great addition here :-)

Does this unit have a freeview receiver built-in? Can you record programs from freeview? Can you record one program whilst watching another program?
Does it play divx
Can someone please tell me if this plays Divx and also packed bitstream Divx (i.e. without judder)?
