Bundle
review by: Anonymous os: Windows Vista

Careful when you buy the bundle deal with the plexus wall bracket... or a guess any bracket. The TV is a VESA 100 across and a VESA 75 down. The bracket supports either VESA 75 or VESA 100. not both together! so you end up only having 2 (of the 4 screws) holdng the TV on to the bracket. NOT GOOD. Called product support. I guess they will tak ethe Plexus budle off shortly!...

Vistron 17" TV
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

This is a great TV. The digital tuning was fiddly but I got it sorted and the picture is great. The bracket was not a natural fit but with two additional holes drilled in it, it's fine.

A great product and package at a great price. Thank you

Don't wait ...................just buy this TV
review by: Anonymous os: Windows Vista

I bought mine a few weeks ago, thought it would be a bit cheap and nasty, but it's a absolute brilliant buy. Good picture, 68 stations on freeview, worked out of the box ( you will need a couple of aaa batteries) can't praise it enough. Just buy it and at this price with free delivery, ebuyer does it again!!!

Indoor Antennas
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

My main TV receives a digital signal via a freeview set top box and an amplified signal from an indoor antenna. No problem here.

However, this TV will not work in the same fashion, as an E-Buyer "Techi" tells me TV's with built in freeview need a loft/external antenna.

Have to say that E-buyer have been superb in handling this problem and have offered me a full refund.

Widescreen not 4:3

Delivered quickly so that was good but I received a 17" widescreen flat panel not as pictured. The speakers are not on the side but in the bottom. It doesn't slope towards the centre at the bottom.

But overall it's a great picture nice and compact easy remote and picked up all channels. Its a 100x100 VESA mount.

Overall great TV.

Nice Little TV

Great little TV, the picture quality is fine for a small set, It is wide screen just like the photograph with a shiny black finish. The size of the set is not as per the Ebuyer specification the screen size is: width 42 cm x 27.5 high and it is 34 cm high when fitted to the stand. The SCART socket is at the top which is not too bad but it is fitted upside down so the cable goes upwards. There are separate RF input sockets for the analogue and digital tuners.

Good allround TV

Just purchased one of these for the Kitchen along with a wall mount. Can confirm that it can be wall mounted although the bracket that I bought didn't have holes to match up with the ones on the TV (not sure which one is to blame!) so I had to drill a couple of extra ones in the mounting bracket to make it fit.

The TV is a cheapy and this is apparent when you handle it and find the casing bends and creaks. Turn it on though and the picture was surprisingly good considering the price. We don't get freeview yet so cannot comment on that part although the menu for it looks Ok. The TV looks stylish on the wall and so far I am happy with it.

WOW what service

Ordered this on a 5 day supersaver delivery on Sunday night. The set was delivered to me at work before 12.00am on Tuesday. At lunchtime got set home and set up the Freeview and terrestrial channels. After some of the comments in here decided not to read manual and everything was so easy even on my indoor aerial.

I also had a loose screw rattling about inside, so I removed the back of set and found where this screw had come from and replaced it (I hope this dont mess the guarantee up).

No problem with the sound yeah a bit tinny but no worse than other medium priced sound equipment.

The remote controller likes to be able to see the on/off switch on the tv and seems to prefer to be held flat in the hand.

I had a lot of trouble trying to set the colour etc up on this tv and after bout two hours gave up. I had set this this tv on top of a tall fridge but due to the colour problem I have gone back to my old CRT tv for this location. When I placed this tv below eye level on a table I could get a perfect set up on the screen colours etc.

WARNING if you want to use this set above eye level than an adjustable wall bracket would probably be a neccessity to get the set angled down towards the user. Apart from that I am well pleased with this set and have reduced the star rating due to the screw rattling about inside on receipt.

Got the TV on time and very happy with it. The wall bracket doesn't fit the TV so again drilled some holes and now it's OK. The only problem I had was the remote has a mind of it's own but phoned ebuyer and they are sending me a new one. Picture quality is excellent considering the price and the freeview works fine.
