well i must say im very impressed by this tv, although ive still yet to try out the dtt side of it as i currently have it connected through sky the picture quality has been excelent, i found some problems with the remote, for some strange reason if i point the remote at the tv it dosnt work well at all, but if i point the remote at the cealing it works brilliantly, perhaps something to try if your having problems.

I bought this TV to wall mount in my kitchen but couldn't find any information about the mountings. I also ordered a VESA wall bracket hoping it would fit, but....it didn't.

The mounting holes on the back of this set are 300mm x 200mm which aren't a common size so be careful if you are intending to wall mount it, luckily i was able to make an adaptor plate so i could use my VESA wall bracket.

The stand is removable, just un-do the screws on the bottom then remove the silver plate, under this are some more screws which when removed allow you to pull away the stand.

As previously stated the remote control is very poor, it is very unresponsive and you have to aim it at the sensor (which is located in the bottom left of the set) and press the buttons as hard as you can, even then it is a bit hit and miss! The layout is awful with two menu buttons, one is for DVB and the other is for the set adjustments. My advise is use a quality universal remote!

There are two AV connections, one is for analogue the other is for digital, very odd??

There is some colour bleed but for the price it is forgivable, otherwise the picture is faultless.

The sound from the 2 x 8W speakers is surprisingly good. You can also adjust the bass, treble and balance in the menu.

Overall a good set for the price, the biggest let down is the remote.

Excellent all round tv with freeview at an unbeatable price

very good specs

ebuyer description has got the cd/m2 and the contrast ratio wrong

cd/m2 is only 400

but contrast is higher at 850:1

pros

great price, digital tuner, excellent picture and great specs for the price

cons

remote is very unresponsive at times (lots of comments about this in 32" version as well)

no info in manual or online about wall mounting

(it seems to be wall mounting but have not measured holes yet for size of bracket)

cant comment on freeview because as yet we dont get it here

First one arrrived with no remote or instructions and faulty. Duly exchanged and I have been sent a remote (I now have two) The remote is ghastly, the instruction are vague, but the tv is pretty good looking. The picture is good, once the DVT has been re installed is fine. Looks great on the wall in the study. Seperate arial socket for DVT and analogue! strange!..All in all for the money, a good deal.

Arrived a couple of days early which was good. nice looking TV. Remote is not user friendly, take a bit of fiddling with. Instructions could be clearer. When tuning in beware it set up for a different transmiter, took me a while to suss this, once i'd got into the correct menu (there are 2 menus, one for picture/sound etc, one for installation and setup options. This is not obvious reading the instructions. Now up and running, good picture and good value, minus points are poor instructions and poor remote.

Watched this TV for a while. Price has varied greatly from a low point of 245 to 350 pounds on Monday now back at 310 pounds, Ebuyer seem to change the price daily, bought one at 260 pounds. Ordered Wednesday night and Box arrived Friday teatime it came with Vistron tape across the top opening, it looked like the box has already been opened. As mentioned on another review the set did not go into first time installation when powered up. Set up TV in spite of the manual, which is a bit vague. Disappointed to discover there is no Sky + code, anyone found one yet? The remote control does have to be pressed firmly to operate but does seem to be improving with age or I am getting better at pointing it at the receiver. For the money was it a good buy? Probably yes as it will serve the purpose I bought it for. Did buy a 32" Evesham LCD from this very same site for 340 pounds and I would have to say it is far superior to this LCD TV. Would have given this TV 3.5 stars but will go for 4 at price I paid for it.

Very impressed with TV - Menus are a bit clunky but ok once you know them. Not had any probs with remote except having to aim at sensor. Be careful of tilt & turn mount - it doesn't fit.
