Instructions To Tune In Freeview
To set up Freeview for the first time you do the following;
- Press the small Menu button
- Use the blue navigation buttons and go to Settings
- Press OK
- Go to Installation
- Press OK
- Choose First Time Installation
- The scanning will then start

I had the TV up and running in minutes. Superb picture and lots of useful connections. High Definition is brilliant. The remote control needs to be used firmly at times but that is the only downside of this fantastic deal.
Samsung LCD screen and Philips digital tuner not bad for the money eh?!!

Sound quality is fine & I haven't noticed any ghosting (as mentioned before, read all comment perhaps?).
This obviously comes without a built in subwoofer like more expensive TVs.
Use a roof ariel for freeview...
Use digital freeview websites to check reception in your area...

Windows XPRecieved today and up and running more or less straight away, picture quality seems superb only prob I have now is finding code for sky remote control but thats not a big deal so overall for the cash this is a great buy.....

Nice TV, lotsa connections etc etc.
No ghosting.
Freeviews pretty good, no complains.
My only worry is the lack of support on the net for this (Vistron's site doesn't seem to think this product...or any Vistron product exists).
Also unsure about Warranty.

Not ApplicableReally pleased with this tele. I bought it for my Dad as his old crt finally gave up the ghost. As he's not looking for all the latest and greatest kit this is perfect.
Picture is fine and the sound is good for what it is. Don't expect to get a tele that competes with the top models cos this won't get close but that's not what this tv is about.
I have not had a problem with the remote, works fine from 5/6 meters away. The DTV menus and easy to use and intuitive.
The sky code is 0065 BTW.
This is great bargain, just not sure how long it will last for!!?

Excellent Choice of TV

Windows VistaRecieved this tv today and am very happy with it indeed. I am using it additionally for my xbox 360 in HD and as a secondary monitor to my Samsung 20" monitor. Infact i'm writing this review using the tv as a monitor.
It would be better if the screen could max at a higher resolution, but this is really only for using it as a PC screen as currently all the icons are rather huge, in comparison with my other screen running at 1680 x 1050.
I see what people mean about the remote.... it can be rather non-responsive at times, but its not that annoying.
For the money, especially with a Samsung screen, this is a truly fantastic television and I would recommend it to everyone!! Its very large here in my uni room, I set out to get a decent samsung 22" screen, but ended up with this!! It's bloody huge! Worth every penny!

Not ApplicableFor any1 having probs with the freeview not filling the screen as i saw in a recent post,
Go into the main menu for the tv and change the scale to FULL then turn AUTO FORMAT OFF.
The picture quality for this TV is very good, no ghostin at all, watched the England game on it the other day and the TV kept up perfectly. Also i've not got a PS3 or X360 but hooked my wii up to it via component cables and set it to 480p, playing metroid 3, and again the quality is excellent, crystal clear and no ghostin!
