Very good value - Very nice picture.

Not ApplicableThis is a nicely packaged TV that doesn't look cheap, despite the price.
It may only be 769 lines, but only being 32" doesn't show this up as much as it might if it were a larger set.
Freeview is bright and clear, and on the better quality BBC channels it's very nice to watch. Sure, it's not as clear as my 42" Toshiba, but that did cost three times the price.
Analogue TV is just as good, although the channels may need sorting once it's scanned them all.
Using both a PS2 and PS3 it really comes alive. There's no picture lag, it's always more than bright enough and the detail is very clear. It's only when comparing it to a more expensive set that can really fault it. After a couple of hours you wouldn't really notice it as much.
There are plenty of connectors, and the stand comes off easily enough for wall mounting (using the recommended one advertised with this set).
It's a fairly wide TV, as the speakers are on the edges, and it's not wafer thin, but these are minor niggles. The remote does seem a little more complex than it need be, with separate navigation buttons for analogue and digital TV, but my 11 year-old got the hang of it faster than I did, so it shouldn't be a problem for anyone.
In all it's a nice picture, good sound and plenty of settings to fiddle with if you want to get the most of it.
The only downside I can see is that all the connectors are underneath, so if you're using the stand you wouldn't want to be connecting/disconnecting AV leads very often, as they'd be hard to reach. Even wall mounted they are really best situated for setting up once and leaving.

Windows XPHaving spent nearly a grand on a samsung plasma I was looking for a 'cheap but good' LCD for the bedroom. Having read the reviews for this and the black rimmed one (same spec I think) I must say I am very impressed. Samsung screen, Philips tuner according to the reviews. Very good picture, a bit dodgy on Setanta, grass is all blotchy but figured that must be the reception as Sky football is fine.Really needs a lot of fine tuning to get it right, but then so did the Samsung .Set-up is a doddle, up and going in 10 mins. Takes a bit of time to come on, 5 seconds or so (lol). OSD is straight forward but you must remember the menu is the centre round button on the handset, there is another one there. Also you have to remember to press the arrow pointing right when selecting an input source. One interesting point is that the screen size kept changing but on reading another review you have to select the size first then turn off the auto select. All fine now. Linked to a Philips HDMI DVD and the picture is excellent (upscaling to 720). Not tried the PC function yet. Remote feels cheap but so far no problems with reponse or functions. Really the only down side in my opinion is that it is surrounded with grey plastic which gives it a 'cheap' look but hey at this price it is well worth it, by far the cheapest LCD TV with this spec on the market. So far very pleased.
Vistron DB32-SD 32"
I bought this TV from ebuyer from the last batch they had in (the Black one)
Quite simply I am very very impressed with this product, even the dearly beloved thinks its great and that's a real achievement!! I've had no problems with the remote, I have found it very responsive, although you do have to be very deliberate with where you point it.
As with a number of other reviews on the site, these come with some minor tweaks to be made on the settings. Mine had the country setting for the freeview set to Germany, once I'd changed it it to UK and selected 1st Installation, all was well. 100% signal rating on all channels.
I am currently building a new home computer to connect to it, complete with HDMI out for home media and gaming, so as yet have not had the chance to test the screen to its limits.
As it stands though I am really pleased and you will not beat this TV for the money...........sweet work ebuyer!!!!

Not ApplicableThe RC function goes to sleep after a while & needs a wake up call,eg press the info or exit button first then your selection, when tuning analogue stations manually, when a station is found it takes four seconds to store & RC resumed.

Windows VistaI had it all set up in less than 10 minutes. The Freeview signal is at 100% for every channel so I'm getting a quality picture every time.
For the price I'm very impressed with the quality, picture and ease of use of this TV.
To set up Freeview for the first time you do the following;
- Press the small Menu button
- Use the blue navigation buttons and go to Settings
- Press OK
- Go to Installation
- Choose First Time Installation
- The scanning will then start
Love it!

Not ApplicableGot mine 2 days ago and I love it!!
Arrived well packaged with excellent service. Unfortunately the instruction manual is 'just too cunning to be understood' but I have managed to program everything by basically playing around with all the buttons on the remote (slight delay sometimes on remote). Only thing left to do now is workout how to record from digital channels....
However, a beautiful piece of equipment - I can't stop looking at it on the glass stand (product no. 95749) - and it's definitely a steal at less than 300 pounds!!

Not Applicableto get the freeview to work you need to re-scan the freeview to do this go to - DVB-T, press menu in the lower section of the remote, go to setup, then installation and then automatic scan wait for that to inish then it shoud work.
