LightScribe...
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

Yes, this version of Nero (8) does support LightScribe, providing your PC meets the required spec and you use a LightScribe enabled CD/DVD.

I bought this the day it came out and like all the other versions of Nero, no other CD/DVD burning software can come close to it. Afew extras have been added to this volume making it even better.

Exelent product, far by far the best on the market.

Highly recommended

Labelflash
review by: Anonymous os: Windows Vista

Yes, Nero has offered full support for Labelflash since at least version 6 bundled with drives and Version 7 as a standalone product.

Works perfectly for HD files!

I used to use Nero 7 (with Nero Vision 4) for DVD work. Now, with a new Sony HDR SR10 High Definition camera, I found it a challenge to get good results. With Nero 7, the picture would stutter, so I thought it was simply not up to the HD demands. I tried the much more sophisticated Sony Vegas software, but that hangs with an annoying frequency. No matter how I did format conversions or whatever first, the results were just not right. Also, if you can work out how to do simple things like trim bits off the end of a recording with Sony Vegas, you're a better man than me! Desperate, I upgraded to Nero 8, and it's perfect! Just extract the .m2ts file from the camera (use the Sony software to do it, don't just copy from the external hard drive seen in Windows) and add them into the DVD compilation window in Nero Vision 5. It gives a smooth conversion to normal DVD/PAL with the 5.1 sound and excellent quality. Fantastic new menus compared to Vision 4 too. Nero have once again come up with easy to use, faultless software at a decent price.
