LinuxBought two of these for use with laptops.
For the price they are simply excellent, 800dpi and smoooooth working on just about any surface.
Comfy in the hand and better than some mice costing five times as much.

Windows XPWindows XP recognised the mouse without the need for any software installation. A long cable means no need to struggle to get it from the desktop under the desk to my pad.
Wheel has positive steps (without being too clicky) and good rubber grip.
One gripe is that the left and right buttons touch each other at the front and sometimes cause inteferance. So I may resort to shaving some of the plastic away to separate the buttons.
