Fantastic

I have just upgraded from a very good iiyama 17inch pro lite flat screen to this samsung and am very impressed.

The thing I liked about the iiyama was the crisp image which outperformed many of my friends and families monitors.

I think I have made another good choice in monitors again.

It is too bright on the default settings - mine was defaulted to 50% but still too bright for me - but that was at 8.30pm in my lounge and everyone has a different opinion and it is easy to change.

It came with all the cables you need and even a foreign power cables if you ever feel the need to relocate!

After checking what pictures looked like and other work related things I moved onto the important thing: Call of Duty 4.

The difference on playing in max resolution is massive, it is like playing on my xbox on my 32inch Samsung, wide screen really makes a difference. I still get shot too much but at least you can see more of the battle field.

No ghosting at all but, I didn't get any with my 17inch iiyama and that was 4 years old so no need to worry about that. I have seen some reviews harp on and on about you need 2ms an not 5ms as is this monitor, well I can't tell the difference and we are talking about mili seconds here so lets put it into perspective.

I haven't tried movies so I can't comment on them as I have a tv to watch them on!

Great value as well I got mine for 167.99 with free delivery which only took 3 working days so don't pay for extra, use the saved cash on something useful.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a good screen and cracking value.

first of all thanks to ebuyer for such a great service & specially to Martin Taylor from customer support for answering my questions about this monitor before buying it.

ok i have replaced my 19" widescreen V7 monitor 1400x900 with this amazing monitor because i wanted 2 ports one for pc & the other for consoles,so i have it now & i have my xbox360 connected to the dvi & the pc to vga & its amazing & to be honest i play my xbox more now because of the massive improvement in pic quality over my old 19".

its really is great monitor even though i'm still not a big fan of samsung quality but they do add more features for less money compared to other well known manufacturers.

anyway it has 3 year warranty which is a huge PLUS,it also look very sleek compared to all 22" screen on the market & would look even better when i buy a glossy black PS3 & put it next to it ;o)

monitor is 10/10 because it has everything from looks to performance the only minus is its made by samsung which is in my books a 2nd class manufacturer.

thanks again to ebuyer 5* for your service.you guys know how to win customers. well done ;o)

Great picture and response times, looks fantastic too.

One slight point i noticed an earlier review stating that the text is small when on high resolution, thats because you need to change the DPI settings in windows has nothing to do with the monitor, hope that helps!

This is a great monitor. Upgraded from a 19" CRT and the picture quality is far better for DVD's etc in true widescreen.

I use if for editing photos and documents and it works a treat. Looks very stylish, pictures dont do it justice.

I have my xbox 360 in the analog and pc in the DVI so no more switching cables!

Only negative is it took a while to get the picture as i wanted it colour wise. But now its great.

Upgraded from a 19" screen. Brilliant picture quality. Had to turn down the brightness and contract from the default setting as far too bright. No complaints. Quality excellent

thats right.

u cant do anything wrong with the 223bw. it has a samsung panel, but 5ms instead of 2ms, which were achieved with a function alike "overdrive".

The 226bw wasnt very good in several tests. It has a minimal input lag, which is fatal for gamer.

maybe there should be mentioned that the screen of the 223cw isnt 22" but 21,6".. But the different cant be seen, still both screens are standing beside.

Top notch monitor. Amazing samsung quality as usual. As others have mentioned, you may have to adjust the settings a bit but once you have mastered that it's amazing, perfect for games such as cod4 and crysis :)
