I'm sure its fitted correctly and my case is fine, maybe i'm doing something wrong but this is far from silent.

Not bad but don't push it.
review by: Anonymous os: Windows Vista

I bought this PSU to power my Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and geForce 8800GTX. For the most part, brilliant PSU with no problems. All the games I played ran flawlessly.

I tried to play Crysis and some cutscenes really push your Graphics card so it tries to take more power. The problem lies in the 12v rail! Mine is actually running at 11.59v so when a graphically demanding game, like Crysis, pushes your graphics card, your graphics card draws more power from the PSU to cope, and my PC keeps restarting itself because of the low voltage on the 12v rail.

Not a bad PSU for the price, but don't push it too hard as it can't cope.

EZ Cool Tornado power supply

I know that this is a cheap power supply but the build quality of the molex connectors is a joke the pins float in the connector, hence making a simple job a nightmare as they don not align up. After some messing around finally got the connectors in. For the money you get a lot of connectors although i would recommend a different power supply.

Hope this helps.

Purchased one of these a few months back and although it looked good and had plenty connectors for the money, It did not live up to its apperance. I havd two problems with the psu, To start with, one of the sata power connectors doesn't work at all, And secondary is that sometimes the psu won't turn on at all, You have to then take the power lead in and out untill it decides to power up. I would send it back to ebuyer, as always found them to be great with returns, But because the psu has a temperamental fault, it may not be shown when testing, so I carry on using it with the temperamental fault and hoping it will die completely so I can claim on the 1year garantee, all in all, I may just have a bad one, and if the psu had no faults, I'd be really happy with it, but because it has, My rating reflects my feeling.

I purchased this powersupply around 3 months ago along with other parts as a first build system. Everything has been running fine up until the last month or so, however this PSU just does not cut it with overclocking in a mid/high end system. My parts arent lightening speed, an 8800GT TOP and a 5000+BE, but the PSU cant hack it, with frequent BSOD's and random restarts. I would recommend this to be used in maybe a media center PC, or just a web browsing pc, but deffinately NOT a gaming system as mine is.

On a more positive note, the thing is deadly silent - i cannot physically hear it and my entire system is sat around a foot away from me. Looks great too, but again, just not good enough for a gaming rig.
