Awesome

Windows VistaRight I have only to say that this monitor is supurb. Not only do you get a very vibrant picture but the quality of the picture is cristal clear. I have a digital freeview box which upscales to 1080i plugged in via the HDMI port, I have two computers plugged in via the analouge and DVI ports and I have my xbox plugged in the componenet connectors running at 1080i.
The monitor supports full 1080p true HD resolution and looks stunning.
The specs speak wonders.
Only gripes are that the gloss black finish is very reflective and you get a very small mirror effect from items on screen that are very close to the edge.
The Buttons are great touch sensitive points on the bottom right of the screen. They function very well but are VERY difficult to see in all but bright light conditions and could really have done with a low illumination.
A remote to switch between the input sources would also have been handy but now I am being greedy.
The above problems are not worth marking the screen down by ANY stars at all. This is a quality piece of kit for a sensible price.
A steal

Not ApplicableThis LCD is the televisual equivalent of Eva Longoria - small for what it is, but perfect in almost every other way.
Its true that the difference between 1080p and 720p is almost non-existent on an LCD this small, but quite frankly who cares when what you get is this good. The response time is lightning, the colours are very bright and the picture crystal clear.
Its also a very good looking piece of kit with a fully adjustable stand and a party piece to finish - this monitor can rotate to "portrait" mode. Not really very useful but good for impressing your mates!
Unlike the previous reviewer, I haven't had any problems with reflections in the shiny finish of the surround. I do agree that a remote for swithching sources would have been nice and the buttons could do with being illuminated, but if you're fussy enough to let this put you off then you probably deserve locking up.
Quite simply, a 1080p HD LCD with a picture and features this good is a steal at 350 notes. Get one now - you wont regret it!
Excellent

Max OSXWhen I plugged this in next to my 19" Mitsubishi CRT (which I had been quite happy with), I thought there was something wrong with my CRT. This great big screen is so much brighter and sharper, it is actually capable of being too bright to use comfortably!
I bought this just a few days ago, and I see that Ebuyer have since knocked another 10 off the price bringing it below 300.
The controls are almost completely invisible and that does make them difficult to use, however, you will only rarely need to to use them.
When I plugged it into my Mac, initially I couldn't get a picture - but it seems that the DVI output is not switched live - a restart made it work.
Only other problem is that it doesn't seem to sleep when my Mac does - My CRT switches itself off, but this monitor stays on (black screen, backlight on).
The stand is quite nicely and solidly built - it has a kind of gas-lift or sprung mechanism that means it moves up and down very easily.
Though the front of the case is shiny black, the back is shiny white.
I suspect most reviews of monitors like this will be wildly over-enthusiastic as it looks so much bigger and better than what it typically replaces, it's difficult to give an opinion on how it compares to other similar monitors without having tried them. Anyway, this is a great looking monitor with an excellent spec at an incredible price, so 5 stars from me.
Fantastic! Top Quality All-Rounder

Windows XPHad this display a week now, picture quality is
fantastic, no dead pixels, set-up was just right
out of the box.
Connectivity is the main selling point
here,Component, VGA, DVI and HDMI.
Im running this as a PC display mainly for
graphics applications (Adobe Suite etc) and also
have a xbox 360 running at 1080p (unbeliveable
sharpness and clarity of HD movies) and still have
room for a HDMI digi box to use as a TV.
Resolution and Refresh rates are excellent.
It really is fantastic and is a real bargain, only
cons are the soft touch buttons can be a little
annoying, but they are rarely used, also there
have been some comments about small reflecton
of the inside edges of the casing, this is true
but barely noticeable and has little effect
on anything.
This 24" is a big step up from my Dell ultrasharp
19" and I cannot recommend this product enough!
Buy ONE !

Windows Vistadon't let the "shame its a tn panel put you off".
all lcd's inc tv's have viewing angle issues, unless you are watching this at acute angles its fine.
all the inputs you will ever need, contrast and brightness you will need sunglasses for.
vibrance and colour to die for.
all in all a great buy, although if you do not want the hdmi then go for the cheaper samsung 245 as its the same panel.
I have had a 2407-hc and think that this monitor has a better picture and vibrance about it, the build quality is not quite as good, it has very little if any ghosting, and looks good on the ps3, xbox 360, Sky HD, and even the good old fashioned PC.
the soft touch buttons can be a little hard to see but hey nothing is perfect.
best purchase i have made in quite some time.
Simply Awsome

Windows VistaThis monitor is superb. hooked my pc up to it and my xbox360, both look stunning on this monitor running at Full High Def.
no dead pixels or any problems with it so far.
Well worth buying!
A very good monitor...

Windows XPThis monitor runs with a native resolution of 1920x1200, and it looks fantastic with the 3000:1 backlighting and the minute 0.27mm dot-pitch.
I have my computer connected with the DVI, my xbox360 connected with the component HD, a high-def digi-box connected with the HDMi, and a spare VGA connection. The input selector switch on the front of the monitor is one of the most useful functions available; i'm a bit disappointed that a remote control wasnt included with the set-up (but you don't buy a computer monitor just for the remote, do you?), and the monitor certainly looks fantastic sitting on the desk.
A perfect choice for anyone looking for a high-spec monitor with the best functionality and connectivity available currently. The monitor also arrived within three days of purchasing online, and one of those days was a bank holiday!
Great connections and stand, worth the money

Windows XPTried a BenQ G2400W at first, but there were some manufacturing defects. Sent for returns and saw the reviews for this. Thought I could get the unit to be a display for a upscaling dvd recorder.
Felt a lot heavier (mostly due to the stand but it is a very robust stand) than the BenQ. Good build quality.
Found the touch buttons a bit fiddly, e..g when I want to turn the monitor on in the dark, takes a few solid presses.
The previous reviews have stated the units good points, nothing more to add. So far, pretty happy with the unit. If you're upgrading, the unit can become quite imposing, but you get use to it. (It did make my wife remark that our 32" TV in the living room now looks small).
Great Monitor

Windows VistaI just recieved this monitor today and guess what? its great.
Great picture, using it with a nvidia graphic card and also with a nice hdmi cable with my PS3
You cant go wrong with it .. if you have the money .. go for it
Excellent Monitor

Windows VistaI was totally impressed with this huge looking monitor when I put it on the desk.
It's very professional looking the smart shiny black frame and matt screen with a white back.
Connections were easy to get at, VGA, DVI, HDMI and Component. It swings quite nicely between the horizontal and the vertical position and I've used it in this position a few times, particularly on the Argos web site.
The Picture is defect free. No dead pixels. It is extremely bright (enough to illuminate a darkened room).
My only gripes would be the control buttons, which are touch sensitive (no actual buttons to push) they are embossed in black on a black background. Somewhat hard to see, but you do get used to the relative position of the buttons compared to the power light. The second small gripe is that the black surround frame is very shiny and the edge acts as a mirror, reflecting about 5mm of the edge of the screen back to you. A little strange at first but not too distracting.
Still I wouldn't be without the monitor now. Brilliant!
I also used the WEEE recycling service that EBuyer offers to take away my old monitor. Couldn't be simpler, a simple email and it was arranged within a day. All I had to do was pack the old one in a suitable box and the courier came and took it away at no expense to myself. A really good service, thanks.
I give the monitor a 5 star rating, because even with the two small gripes, it really is a quality monitor.
