Possibly my favourite purchase of the year...

I am so glad I upgraded my old 17" bulky monitor to this model. I live in student halls and my room is about the size of most people's shoe cupboard. This has now replaced my old monitor and TV, takes up half as much space as either and is twice as good! picture is excellent, especially when i have my Xbox connected through the DVI port. I also have a Thomson freeview box connected through the SCART on the back and again, this is great as a TV. Speakers are average but perfectly adequate for a small room/ bedroom. Excellent value for money!

Terestial Tuner

The specs state is has a built-in analog tuner, I.E. No digital tuner. Pairing with a Sky box or freeview box should be fine for digital use.

Needed to tidy up my office and move a ps2 at the same time. Have upgraded from a 15" tft to this and the difference is immense.

Got a digibox, ps2 and the pc attached to this. Speakers are a little tinny, but not overly so. I'd thoroughly recommend this.

Yes, it is the old analogue HDTV monitor, as I already have a 42" LCD, 1080p freeview TV with a Virginmedia STB, I do not really care about the monitor/TV becoming obsolete.

I bought this item for the compact size, the component, dvi, video and scart connections at the back as I will be doing a lot of high quality transfers/ editing.

I am very pleased with the quality of the picture and as promised it came the next day. I cannot fault it!

Wall Mounting
review by: Anonymous os: Not Applicable

Excellent TV/Monitor however if you need to wall mount it choose the mount carefully. It requires a wall mount that gives at least 60mm clearance from back of TV to wall as the power cord plugs straight in the back. If you wish to tilt forward on the mount then more clearance is required. The mount I bought was flush mount and useless for this application.

I bought one of these last Nov from eBuyer and it has worked perfectly from plug-in. I use it on my home/office desk and it's very handy to click from computer to TV when my TV guide programme reminds me there is something I want to watch. Widescreen is excellent for both computer use and TV viewing, and picture quality is perfect. A very good buy.

I got this a week ago to use as a TV for my bedroom. I've never had an LCD TV before, so I've nothing to compare it with. Firstly, the speakers are awful, so external ones are a must. Picture is good, although, I think I liked my old CRT telly better for colours etc. Nice big screen. The TV was easy to set up. Has a headphone socket, which was a must for me (4 year old son in the next room). I tried my ipod speaker dock, via an audio cable and this much improved the sound, although, I cant get sound through the dock when my digital recorder's on (well not yet anyway) - I'm going to try my PC speakers through it and see if I get sound from the headphones through the digibox as well, - if I can, all my troubles will be solved.
