Better than expected, a LOT better.

Well, after receiving mine I found it had 600 cd/m2 brightness (not 500 as advertised) and a contrast ratio of 1200:1 (not 800:1 as advertised), so that was a great start. It has the same model number as advertised here (51-26), so maybe they are using better components in newer assembled screens.

Hooked it up to my XBOX 360 at 720p, and it looks superb, colours are vibrant, picture is sharp, no noticable motion blur. I'm chuffed to bits as it's every bit as good as the high spec branded ones down currys, but a hell of a lot cheaper. I didn't get to test the freeview as I have no arial, but if it's anything like the rest of this screen I'll be more than happy.

If you're not sure about buying it due to the low specs just go for it, you wont be disapointed.

Purchased on Wednesday - Delivered on Friday via free delivery 5 stars Ebuyer...

Never written a review before, but this TV is just too good to be true at this price!

I spent many months looking at various LCD TV's with a view to replacing an old 17" model for the playroom. I was never totally impressed with the big brand names and felt that the technology was not quite there at this level.

Well what can I say that hasn't already been said..this product is as near perfect as you are going to get. Looks great and picture on DVB is 100% and as a pc monitor it truly shines.

If you have any doubts as I had, rest assured this is all you would want in a TV and more.

So impressed that I am getting the 32" model for the main room.

Great TV but no Sky+ code

I just bought one of these TV's and it is great. The picture qulaity is brill. I had to play with the colour and brightnes when I first turned it on but didnt take long to get a great looking picture.
Sound was perfect the second I turned it on.

Now to help people who are going to buy this TV as they havent put this in the write up.

You can wall mount this TV, (quick code for the wall mount is 130799) The instructions for the wall mount and TV aren't great, but the wall mount is quite easy to work out with a bit of comment sence. If you are going to wall mount it then you will want to remove the TV stand and again the instructions dont tell you how. If you turn round the TV and look under the scart sockets there are 4 screws, 3 silver and 1 black, remove all of them and the base will come off. (Have someone else hold the TV when doing this).

The only bad point I have to say about this TV is that when I bought it the tech suport told me that the Sky code was 0004 but iv tryed it and it didnt work. If anyone can help me with this I would be very greatful, I dont want to have to use 2 remote controls.

Oh one more thing if your intrested when you turn on Sky it come up on the TV straight away, you dont have to select the scart socket. Handy I think.

Very good TV for very little money

In short: A TV that has seriosuly surmounted my expectations due to the low price paid for it. Great picture quality (after rejigging the original settings), sound, connectivity and an even better price.

Longer version: What I needed: A good value TV for my bedroom that will move with me to a new home to be a living room TV. My initial thoughts were of fear because I've no prior experience of Vistron or Vistron Sense. I was actually looking for a 32" but didn't want to risk getting an "unbranded" 32" TV for use in the living room. The TV looks great and is comparable to the 1,000+ Pioneer my parents have!! The Freeview channels look great, I did have the voice sync problems at first but am pretty sure this is due to a faulty aerial cable. I had it replaced and hey presto, no voice sync problems. I have the TV hooked up to an Xbox Classic which I use for Xbox Media Centre(XBMC) and it's brilliant.

I've only one gripe with it and that's the lack of support for headphones (you WON'T be able to use the PC audio input for this). Annoying, but not enough to distract just how great this TV is. It's so great that it's the first product that I've ever written a review for! Buy with confidence.

In brief purchased this TV after reading all the praise it was getting on the avforums and they were right. Superb value for money and for me works great as second TV for the Xbox 360. Picture is as good as my Samsung.

Great all round TV

Using this TV with an HTPC. Took a bit of initial setting up by picture is great.

Instructions are very poor and would have you believe the TV only accepts VGA input of native 1024x768. You can actually re-configure the TV to accept 1024x768, 1280x768 or 1360x768 via settings menu. am not 100% sure but I think it runs at 1:1 pixel mapping and with both TV and graphics card set to 1360x768, display is excellent.

One minor irritation with my unit (not sure if it's faulty) is that after a power on the screen does not initialise until being put into and brought back out of standaby - awaiting response from ebuyer on this.

Also seen some issues when using inbuilt DVB tuner with sound being slightly out of sync but it seems to go away after a period if time.

Looks good, performs well and good price! Main let down is lack of any decent instructions.
