Better than average and takes full ATX mobo
os:
LinuxDescribed as MATX but clever engineering, takes full ATX. The PSU has been moved out of the traditional slot, allowing smaller overall case for full size board. About time they broke the mould! Nice finish throughout sets it well above budget brand casecom. Wouldn't recommend standing a monitor on top though, no support struts inside and metal sheets not exactly up to Air Raid Shelter thickness. But the best you can expect for under thirty quid.
how to open
just incase anyone is put off this case from previous reports regarding how to open it, its actually a piece of cake. just use a small flat ended screwdriver and run it down the length of the front case turning slightly to prize open. no damage or broken clips at all. the guides for the dvd roms confused me a little but as said earlier you just use the bottom left and right sides of the dvd drive and they just clip into place, note that the guides have very faint 'r' and 'l' stanped in them so looking at the front of the dvd drive to tell left from right with the angled part of the clip to the front, once clipped in then just slide the dvd drive into place, hey presto and one nice easy to use case
Fantastic case
Case is excellent, it has a fantastic shiney black finish. There is the issue of removing the front carefully when installing the DVD drive. Power supply has plenty connector and the mainboard power is via a 24 pin connector and NOT 20 pin but you can slide out 4 pins to make is 20pins (it a feature). The problem I had was the power connector on my board was near the rear connectors of the motherboard and the power supply cable reached but is stretched across the motherboard and only just reached (its about 12-14 inches). Otherwise and excellent case. I would use this case again, quality is good.
Well worth the money - but buy plasters!

Not ApplicableThe fascia is tough to get off, gashed my fingers bad the third time I took it off. Helps if you squeeze the lugs from the back as you pull from the front.
Lots of screws supplied, along with a power lead and some worthless intructions the size of a business card.
You get two sets of rails that you clip onto your 5.25 drives and slot in through the front, and a set of optional raised feet that improve airflow through the vents in the bottom of the case.
The installed 60mm fan has a 4 pin connection, and as described you can add another 60mm fan. What's not mentioned is that you can also add two 80mm fans, one over the CPU and one over the PSU.
Case looks good for minimalists like me, just one red LED and evrything else behind doors.
4 pin ATX power cable
I bought this case with a Inno3D 1GB 8500GT - the 4 pin power cable had to be tugged and untangled a bit to get it to stretch over the card to the mobo. Maplins is the only place I know that sell the extension - product code A46AK 3.99 - vital!

Windows VistaIm building a mATX gaming machine, the case i was going to buy is almost the exact same to this but with a red and black piano finish, if your going to buy it dont!! Buy this case, this case has enough room for everything (unlike the red and black case) looks sexy (okay the red and black case has pretty much the same paint job) but the real deal is the PCU, the red and black piano finish case has a PSU of 200v thats not nearly enough for a gaming rig!
Like it

Not ApplicableLike the case and feel it is good value for money.
Got the front panel off easy enough by undoing the screws through the fastening clips. I then pulled out the clips afterwards and re screwed them to the front.
Supplied case fan wasn't too noisy.
PSU is a normal ATX so is easily changeable.
Think they missed a trick though by not making it easily posssible to use it on it's side. The side handle will not allow it to lay flat.
Would buy again.
build help

Windows XPgreat case, wish i had got myself one. looks great in my daughters bedroom. there are 2 cd drive slots at the front, one centre and one to the left and a floppy slot to the right also hidden under a flap. To access the drive slots the front covers must be removed by unscrewing the cover from the rear with a small posidrive. the whole thing then unclips easiliy and the drives can be inserted into position using the clips provided. the clips locate into the normal screw fastenings on the drives.
Nice case

Windows VistaMost things to say about this case have already been said.
I found the DVD drives fit to be extremely tight, actually pushing against the mobo power plug in my case.
The 4 pin cable just made it to it's socket, but I was ready with soldering iron and shrink tube just in case!
The PSU cooling needed a lot of work. I cut away the silly air restricting grilles from both the right hand door and inside the case and fitted a wire grill to the outside increasing the airflow by about 50%. I also modded the inside front with a sloping baffle to help direct the air down and out through the lower slot.
The springs which pull the DVD doors shut kept falling off so I slung them and fitted small rubber bands.
Fitting an extra 60mm fan to the back is a no brainer, so don't forget to order one!
I removed the cpu air duct and fitted a 80mm fan in it's place, 7 volting all the fans at the same time. I also fitted a little sound deadening to strategic places.
The system is now extremely quiet.
I looks really good to me now, but I can't get over the feeling that I'll think it looks cheesey within a year and want to replace it, but hey, at this price you can afford to change your case every year!
Definate 5 stars!
A nice little(-ish) case

Not ApplicableThe overall quality far exceeded my expectation wrt the price. The wiring is good with the lead to the 24-pin connector encased in a mesh although some SATA power connectors would have been welcome. The front panel does need to be removed in order to install some drives and replace the power supply but levering it away with a stoutish plastic knife is a doddle, without leaving a mark on the fascia or your fingers! I used a pink knife but you can try any other colour.
