Windows XPDoes everything it needs to do. Adjusts fans well.
The device is made from metal and strong but the dials are plastic and abit weak feeling but seems strong enough if you are not rough with it.
The USB cable that comes with it has a block of connectors fro plugging into the controller but individual wires for the mobo, on a modern mobo that allows block to be plugged in this is frustrating.

hello , bought this to solve the prob of niosey fans , problem solved , just need to watch the temperture now , oh yes didnt bother with , the extra usb`s , this is a fiddly job requiring good eye site , and steady hands , which i dont have .
Works Very Well & Cheap

Windows XPcomes with a special adapter than plugs into the bay unit, which splits off into 3 3pin fan adapters
USB is a little fiddly to install onto motherboard USB header, but once installed works nicely
quite nice & simple, but not cheapo looking actually
this enabled me to install some of my high CFM fan into pc build, so that when listening to music or watching moves, or playing games, fan speed can be tuned up, but when idle fan speeds go way down, really makes a huge difference

Worth Every penny!
Now i can control my front case fan my rear case fan and my side pannel fan soo easy!

Windows XPif you want a cheap fan controller, then yep this is the one, it'll serve you well
however please note that it doesn't come with converter cables to allow 4 pin fans to connect to it, as this only comes with connections for 3 pin fans.
the usb connections connect directly to the motherboard and are quite viddley however all in all once it's set up, its perfectly fine
those with expensive or somewhat bulkily designed cases should note this fan controller fits where a floppy drive should go, and it is a very tight fit, so best thing is to make sure you have plenty of space, it can be a very small space to work in
4 stars because of lack of any real instruction and because of the lack of 4 pin to 3 pin converter cables.
