Windows XPdoes the job, no problem installing it on an old PC (6 years old?)!!!
does not come with any cables or instructions, if you know what you are doing or just replacing an old drive then this is for you.
Cannot fault EBuyers marvelous service ether

Windows XPIt's a cheap OEM so, as already stated, no cables of any sort - and mine came wrapped in a plastic bag between two sheets of thin bubblewrap - but it slots straight in and Windows "sees" it with no problem. The drive tray is VERY flimsy and doesn't inspire any confidence in it's surviving even a slight bump. It also has to be the noisiest drive in use that I've ever heard, even when playing an audio disk it's very loud. I might have to consider re-locating the PC to under the desk. Yes, it's THAT loud. But...and it's a big one, I needed a quick and cheap replacement unit and, as usual, Ebuyer ticks all the boxes, smooth ordering, fast delivery, job's a good 'un. Maybe I can get some earplugs...
