Windows XPBought this to replace an old LG drive that stopped reading dvds, it's exactly what i wanted and haven't had any problems with it, It is oem so you just get the drive without cables or instructions, but as long as you know that beforehand you're okay.

Windows XPreally good drive took me 5 mins to get it in and my computer reconised it straight away
dvd writer
put into machine and works great no disk or any backup information.
the only problem i have is that i cannot erase rw/ dvd disks as i could before.
