Product Description
Unique Two-Step Process
ArctiClean Bottle 1 Thermal Material Remover quickly emulsifies and dissolves the existing thermal grease or pad from the CPU and/or heatsink so that it can easily be removed with a clean cloth or paper towel. Then, a few drops of ArctiClean Bottle 2 Thermal Surface Purifier and some gentle wiping removes the remaining residue and inhibits corrosion on the copper or aluminium surface.
ArctiClean Bottle 1: Thermal Material Remover
ArctiClean 1 uses a proprietary combination of non-toxic biodegradable solvents to emulsify thermal greases or thermal pads. The citrus and soy-based solvents in ArctiClean 1 match or exceed many hazardous and volatile solvents such as fluorinated and chlorinated organic solvents, acetone, MEK (methyl ethyl ketone), mineral spirits, isopropyl alcohol, and toluene.
ArctiClean Bottle 2: Thermal Surface Purifier
The cationic surfactants in ArctiClean 2 remove any residue left by the ArctiClean 1, leaving a pristine surface for the application of a new thermal interface material. It also incorporates advanced flash corrosion inhibitors that minimise the corrosion layer on copper and aluminium allowing for more intimate contact between the thermal interface material and the heatsink.

Good Stuff

Windows XPBought some to get rid of some old horrid paste left over when I removed my hsf.
I tried meths - barely touched it. Tried this - liquified it instantly, and just wipes off.
Not sure if the thermal purifier makes much difference though, even if it did look 'clean' afterwards.
A good product to keep in your toolbox!!

Essential before thermal compound.

Windows VistaI bought this along with arctic silver 5. This is pretty much essential to get rid of the previous paste before applying new.
The kit also comes with the purifier which enchances the surface for conductivity.
And like the last user has said, it has a pleasant scent of oranges.

Works fine. There's enough in the bottles for SEVERAL uses since you only need a few drops of each for one job.

Windows 7Works just fine, just get some Q tips and some cotton wool or a light cloth, then get crackin.
one smells like a hospital the other one smells of oranges, and it will be sure to perfume your case to such fragrant standards, and best of all, they both get you high.
This stuffs a must for getting rid of old compound, cos it cleaned my old stuff straight off.
Also, this has plenty of uses, comes with enough for a bout 2-5 years.
