Windows XPOMG!!! guyz. hmmm.... this is brilliant, amazing at the sametime. I just bought this laptop cooler. the reason i bought this was that my laptop gets hot so much, because i run big programs at the same time such as max, photoshop and basicly modelling and doing my project. by the way i am in 3rd year and my laptop has been with me 3 year and havent re-installed my windows once.sometimes it crushes and i lost my files few times. because i am so busy and i dont have time to re-install all those things again and it was pain. So i got this, my laptop gets hot upto 65 and that is hot. now it is running around 43 and pretty cool. amazing. Also it lifts up from the table and make it more comfortable to do work on your laptop. BRILLIANT. Deffinately recommend this product. and it is cheap. JUST BUY IT. TELLING YA ALL!!!!

Cheap, effective. Cools by Laptops GPU down from 90C to 69C when gaming, overall a massive improvement.

Not ApplicableI usually run folding@home on my laptop when it's not being used, and so it gets quite hot. Hot components tend to decrease their lifespan, so buying this to cool down the laptop can only be a good thing.
The more expensive ones which cool better (Antec's one for example). However for the price, it's great value for money, and whenever someone I know gets a laptop I always recommend them to get this or something similar.
Check The Screen Size of your laptop!
I bought this thinking that my 15.4" laptop would be applicable to sit nicely ontop of this finely crafted piece of kit, but it wasn't. It overhanged the edge and didn't seem safe ontop of it. Make sure you check your screen size before buying, otherwise you could waste your money. Having said this it was a very nice product, well made and pleasing to the eye.
Cool as a Cucumber

Windows XPThis does what it says on the tin. My laptop is now a happy bunny again (and so am I).
Pros:
* Inexpensive
* Not too noisy
* Plug and go
* My integral fan comes on much less now
Cons:
* You lose a USB port (no extra on cooler, like more expensive kit)
* Made in China
* The support that tilts the whole unit (into a better position) doesn't lock into place, so could drop unexpectedly if you move the whole setup away from you (a minor niggle)

Cools very well, but....

Windows XP... mine is very noisy until it warms up which is annoying. I checked all the parts to make sure they wre fitting correctly but makes no difference - I guess at this price the tolerances are not going to be that goood. However, it cools well. My laptop hangs over slightly on both sides but if anything this helps with the cooling because of where the fan is positioned (Dell D600).
