Excellent and very stable
operating system:
Not ApplicableIf you're looking for a stable , high quality PSU then this product is perfect for you. Do not put your components at risk and buy a cheap, flaky power supply. Many people make this mistake and end up ruining their expensive components.
Unlike cheaper PSUs which rate their power output at the max it can produce, the Antecs is an average and is far more stable. This PC was reviewed in CustomPC and it received it's stamp of approval! In the lab tests it proved to be extremely stable at all voltages (3.3v-12v) and is also very efficient.
Has to be five stars for another great Antec product
Cheap and Quiet
operating system:
OtherLots of long cables that have plenty of connectors including T-shaped SATA's and two 6 pin PCI-E's with one having the extra 2 pin. I cannot hear this PSU running unless I press my ear right up against it and even then there is only a slight noise, but nothing you'll notice once your case is closed.
I'm running an Asus P5N-E SLI with an E7200, 9800GT 512MB, two HDD's, one DVD/CD, a Cooldrive IV, one 120mm fan and three 80mm fans. None of my system is overclocked.
There are three +12v rails: 22, 22 and 25. The 25A rail is purely for the two PCI-E cables so you can run any GFX card/s upto a max of 300W.
If like me and you are on a budget and looking to get a quality PSU with some room for upgrading in the future this is the one for you!
Nice PSU
operating system:
Windows XPGot this to replace a Powercool 650 which gave a funny high pitched electrical noise under full load.
This PSU so far is great. Very quiet and stable. No frills but who is going to see it at the back of your case anyway.
Great independent reviews too http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=110
