Most awesome purchase

Windows XPI bought this camera a few months ago before the price started to drop so rapidly (probably due to the new Canon 1000D reaching the shelves). Despite paying a bit more than it's advertised I am by no means disappointed. We also bought an extra 75-300mm lense at around 100GBP. The basic lense that comes with the camera offers little more zoom than human vision, but it's a much better zoom than any compact i've owned. The pictures that are taken are superb, and once you get the hang of the different functions and facilities you'll never go back to copmpact!
The camera's much lighter than the Nikon D80 we were looking at and with the functions being displayed on the LCD rather than a tiny screen i find it much more user friendly. It's my first DSLR so i've not much to compare it to, but i would strongly recommend it.
Dream No More ....."Dreams Do Come True "

Windows XPThis camara is well worth the money. I'm new to SLR's but its so easy. I find working with live view to be a bit hard as it does not work in auto mode. Still well worth the money. produces fantastic picture that you can do so much with thanks to the 12M pixals.
But cant work out how to claim my cash back as there is no ref to it in the paper work or manuals that came with the kit.
Eos 450 D
This is not a direct review but from the comments I have seen I am interested in buying this camera, I would be interested to hear where I can buy a 70-300mm lense at 100 pounds? How easy is it to steady a large lense without the image stabiliser?
