Amazing...
os:
Windows XPHD movies and games (Cod4, Crysis) look incredible.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high end monitor.
5 Stars!
Stunning
os:
Windows XPEasily the best screen i have ever seen!
Gaming is a joy, the colours are stunning. For watching films, it's truly awesome. I have had this monitor for about a week now and i still cannot get over the display quality.
I am running my desktop at 1920x1200!!
If you are looking for a high end monitor capable of true 1080p, look no further.
This Monitor Rocks
os:
Windows VistaJust got this monitor and is far better than my samsung 245b 24". The colour is much better and I have it on lower brightness and contrast. It is a fantastic Monitor. I am playing all games on 1900 x 1200 resolution no problem at all. Simply Brill
Great Monitor
os:
Windows XP10/10, great monitor. i have had no issues been running the monitor non stop for 6 months.
You can never go wrong with Samsung.
os:
Windows VistaFantastic monitor! Gorgeous styling and quality, the spec doesn't mention the touch sensitive control interface or the 90 degree tilt so you can work in portrait mode. Comes with audio cables, driver CD, manual, UK and EU power cords (great for when you get sick of living in Britian and want to emigrate somewhere much nicer), the standard old PC cable and what I guess is either a HDMI or DVI cable, not sure as didnt open that packet as yet to build my new PC - am currently using a laptop :o)
Of course the important point, no dead pixels!
One gripe, its so big I have to move my chair back a little to avoid having to move my head when looking at it. As problems go not too serious, I'll cope :o)
Ebuyer - usual prompt delivery and great prices. Never had a bad experience with them over the past six or so years (think it could well be much more to be honest).
Brilliant

LinuxAfter my old 21" CRT suddenly died two months ago, I needed to find a good quality, high-resolution replacement. This is what I bought and I have to say that it is so much more than just a replacement for my old monitor (in more ways than one).
It is surprisingly light, the screen can be raised, lowered, tilted and even rotated on the stand. I mainly run my desktop machine through it (with HDMI leads at 1920x1200, naturally), but have tried my PS3 through it and that worked fine, too.
This is well worth the money - highly recommended if you need lots of screen real-estate.
The only down-side is that is has just one HDMI port. It also doesn't come with an HDMI lead (but they can be picked up cheaply from the elsewhere on this site), although it /does/ come with a VGA lead and a DVI lead.
DisplayPort
It alarms me that Samsung would release a monitor of this calibre and yet not include a "Display Port".
It'll no doubt be a fine monitor regardless though.
Where are the reviews?!
I cannot find any information about this monitor anywhere! It's not even on the official samsung site... can someone point me in some kind of direction for more information?
Or how about a video review ebuyer?!
display port?
it does say what it has
Video Signal D-sub, DVI, HDMI
DVI is the display port and it supports HDMI for things like consoles in hd to the monitor
question
Hi,
I am interested in buying this monitor but can someone tell me please if this supports 720p input and 1080p input from the hdmi source?
Also does it stretch the 1080p (1920x1080) to the native 1920x1080?
Any help much appreciated.
