Overview
Product Description
The Ballistix line is specifically built for performance enthusiasts who want to push the performance envelope without worrying about data loss or corruption, mysterious intermittent errors and display problems, or worse - the dreaded BSOD! The Ballistix line of high-performance memory modules features advanced speed grades, low latencies, and integrated aluminum heat spreaders.A Ballistix dual inline memory module (DIMM) consists of a number of memory components that are attached to a black printed circuit board. The gold pins on the bottom of the DIMM provide a connection between the module and a socket on a larger printed circuit board. The pins on the front and back of a DIMM are not connected to each other. Ballistix 240-pin DIMMs are used to provide DDR2 SDRAM memory for desktop computers. DDR2 is a leading-edge generation of memory with an improved architecture that allows it to transmit data very fast. Ballistix

Crucial ballistix
Does exactly what it says.
5-5-5-15 @ 2.0v 1066 speed as
indicated on the modules
themselves.
2 E.P.P profiles according to
everest including 4-4-4-12 @
800 Mhz.
Can't fault them in any way.
Gigabyte G33-DS2R board, and
working great.
I think i'll buy these again
in future. :-)
You will not be disapointed!
operating system:
Windows VistaGot these rather flashy sticks through my door earlier, cheers to Ebuyer for quick delivery once again! and i haven't stopped overclocking since.
currently I'm running the RAM on this PC. They worked as it says on the box @ 1066MHz and 2.0v straight away. But i decided what the hell that's not fast enough! and threw the voltage up to 2.2 and the speed up to 1333Mhz, running like a dream no issues at all (so far), on my ASUS P5KC.
I plan to try these babies @ 2.4v, however due to my FSB it's not wise to go above 1333MHz, we'll see what the voltage does.
Overall good fast RAM right out of the box, looks nice, smells nice and overclocks like a dream. Get them, you won't be disappointed!
Excellent
Worked as advertised straight away (1066MHz C5) in an Abit IP35 Dark Raider motherboard
Fantastic packaging
Excellent build quality
Need Advice
I just brought these and installed them on an Asus Crosshair how do I get it to see the right frequency???
Godd mem but have a problem...
operating system:
Windows XPThese sticks are great and really cool with a see-through case.
Slight problem i've found with my mobo is that its stuck at 800hmz and everytime i go to change it to 1066 the computer locks up on the moment windows loads up and get stuck in a loop until i set it back to 800.
Any help would be greatful but im still giving it 5/5 as its been really reliable :D
great RAM company
if they failed after 11 months - you can proably use the crucial lifetime warranty: http://www.crucial.com/uk/company/riskfree.aspx?click=true
comment re setting 1066
Make sure DDR2 voltage in bios is 2.0V, some boards give 1.8V and need to use a +0.2V setting in bios, but would not think that would lock system, mine just failed after 11 months, but great when working.
