Great for families

Not ApplicableWe have just bought this to replace our old home computer and are really impressed with how fast it is. There is a lot of space for us to keep all our photos and the kids games, etc on it. Very happy customers!

You can hardly hear the pc. Its faster than fast.
It was so easy to set up. If you have broadband then you don't have to do anything to set the connections does it all for you. Its everything I could ever need :-)
I don't no about the HDMI output coz I haven't tried it.
An Excellent Computer

Windows VistaThis computer is excellent. After many years of building my own computers, ordering the parts from eBuyer and slotting them together, I decided to buy one ready made. The first thing that impressed me was that the large cardboard box it arrived in had a very strong Acer seal on it, so that you know that nobody else has touch it since it left the factory. I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the case, it really does exude quality, and looks extremely smart, (you won't want to hide this one under the desk!!). On switching on I thought at first that it was not working, it is so quiet!!. On the front in a 3.5" bay are a selection of slots for just about every type of memory card there is. There is also a USB port, bringing the total number or USB ports to nine. I have not really fully tested it yet for speed, but it is certainly fast, and with the seperate nVidia graphics card should be great for games as well as serious stuff.
Highly reccomended.

Windows VistaJust got one of these to replace my 'DIY'PC as it was cheaper to buy it built. Looks smart and perfoms well. Have tranfered over loads of Msuic/Photos etc. We use Acers in the office so Iknow they are relaible. KB & mouse a bit cheap. The case and sockets etc look durable and it's well put together. Worked straight out of the box no set-up issues. Reccomed I don't think for 350 pounds you could do much better.
Onboard HDMI.....
The HDMI port is there, however it's attached to the onboard radeon graphics chip - this particular PC has an add in geforce graphics card. When Acer put this in, they disabled the on board radeon chip.
You should be able to re-enable this again in the BIOS, then enable the HDMI output as a secondary display, with the Radeon and the Geforce coexisting. I'm not 100% on that though... try giving Acer a call, 0870 853 1000

Computer is nicely finished and works fine. Very easy to set up. Nice and quiet as well.
Had to spend a while removing games and some other stuff I don't need but I suppose they're useful to some buyers
Quiet machine

Windows VistaThank you ebuyer for a prompt delivery very quick, The machine is so quiet its hard to believe its on,The pc so far is worth the money my diy pc cost alot more an no its seriously dated, only two things I can think of negative wise is the keyboard it comes with is terrible it just feels and looks so nasty compared to the pc itself and Wireless would have been nice to have wireless networking capability,To upgrade this now it would invalidate my 1 year warranty, my fault tho I should have checked the spec better,apart from that excellent pc

looks smart. not as big as my old machine, nice size.
very very quiet, won't even realise it's on.
plenty of usb ports. good selection of other ports (firewire, hdmi) and memory card slots.
it is pretty quick, but not as quick as i expected. this may be due to needing more ram or just the fact that Vista is not (i don't feel) a good OS. (note to Microsoft - should've have just updated the drivers in XP!!)
dvd writer is a little noisy at times and when burning - but is pretty quick.
for the price this is a great pc.
would like to give this pc 5 stars but i feel that it is a shade slower than i thought it would be (this may be due to my excessive downloading and usage) and the fact that after initially thinking vista looked good, i don't think it has improved greatly on XP.

Windows VistaI had the computer delivered on saturday, at an extra charge, and found it didn't work at all. So i followed the e-mail directions and phone the computer help line, told them this. Now bearing in mind that my computer wouldn't turn on at all, they then asked if my drivers were installed. How? I finally got through to ebuyer and found out that i can have a replacement, so thats fine but in about 1 week or so. I'm sure it'll be fine but ebuyer really does need to sort out it's replacements, most other places would send it by courier again as i have paid for it. So any computer should be great! Eventually
hdmi not working

Windows VistaHi, my pc arrived i was really excited. it looks and feels great. But i just can't get the hdmi output to work at the moment so am in the process of contacting ebuyer.
anyone in the same predicament?
