Kingston ram
You should check on the manufactures web site for compatable ram. thay dont mean any old ram. each ram has a code you should get the recomended ram from the QVL list. In this case Kingston 2gb (2x1gb) Ddr2 1066mhz Hyperx Memory Cl5(5-5-5-15)coded KHX8500D2K2/2GN sold on Ebuyer would be suited as it has one of three kingston codes listed. You can find the QVC list for Mobos here http://www.asus.com

Windows XPI have now built with a few of these boards and have not had an issue yet. Usually run one of the energy efficient 45w 2.6gig chip and 2 Gb of memory.
I used the kingston KVR533 in 2 one strips without a problem.
Board drivers easy to install and all cables in box. (1 of each, SATA PATA and Floppy)
All in all good board for a cheap build.

Windows XPVery good motherboard once up and running but I had a few issues with memory....
2x512mb DDR2 533 kingston ram (would not boot)
1x1024 DDR2 533 kingston ram (only showed 512mb)
2x512mb DDR2 533 Samsung ram
(perfect)
Although it states in the manual that Kingston ram is compatible I would avoid it.
