Windows VistaThis comes in a box with everything needed- Blueray writing software plus playing software for blueray, HD DVD and any other disks you put in it. The picture quality is really crisp although I guess that is as much to do with my LG monitor as it is this unit. So far I have recorded BD-R and DVD+RW disks in it, both with immediate success. All in all I am happy with my purchase, its just a shame it cannot be connected to a TV!

I would like to know if this drive will play Blue-ray movies over usb. and if so do you still need a HDCP compatible grafix card and LCD monitor?
