Fantastic Deal
review by: Will rating:

operating system: Windows XP

This stuff is blazing fast: 800MHz at 128 bit! It is also rock solid, despite being non ECC. I plugged this stuff in and instantly noticed the difference compared to my 1.5 gigs at 256MHz. This stuff is great.

Comes boxed with heatsinks prefitted and ready to plug and play.

This really is too good a deal to be true: ideal for anybody looking to upgrade their system. Especially good for gamers and heavy graphics users.

NOTE: Other Windows XP users, without the 64 bit version you are limited to a maximum of 4Gb of RAM, so unless you are running Vista or a 64bit OS don't buy two sets of this!

as good as it gets
review by: bazzerwold inc. operating system: Windows XP

running this stuff at 4-4-4-11 and 1T! on an amd g/bye 570sli, and it's rock solid! voltage at 2.0 as recommended.

i don't do overclocking,so tightest timings are preferred.

small disappointment; no case sticker :(

buy some!

Runs perfectly @ 1066
review by: Anonymous rating:

operating system: Windows Vista

Runs at 1066 with 5-5-5-15 on my Asrock 770Crossfire board no problems. Voltage @ 2.15v. Get 13.5GB bandwidth with a Phenom II X3 720. At the time Ebuyer were selling these for 39.99 which was a steal. So I got 8GB.

Cheap & Quick - Happy at 1066
review by: Anonymous rating:
customer rating
operating system: Not Applicable

Nice and cheap and quick. I found these have no trouble running 1066 and 5-5-5-15 timings in a Gigabyte EP35-DS3L. Considering the price, and that other brands' 4Gb kits are offering timings from CL5-7 for more money than these it makes them an absolute steal. The ramsinks feel a little flimsy compared to the Corsair XMS2s they replaced but this is really a very minor issue and doesn't detract from the 5*s they deserve. (They actually fit the colour scheme of the EP35 board better than the old ones did anyway!!) Essential hardware for V64/Win7.

Excellent stuff especially for your 64bit software.
review by: Peter Lewis from N Wales rating:

operating system: Windows Vista

To install a full 8Gb of this quality memory from the start you have to be confident that it would produce the results and it certainly made a huge difference over the standard OZ memory.

8Gb would only be compatible with the 64bit software as less than half this capacity would be recognised under the standard 32bit.

Right from the off this memory with its improved clock speed and latency timings made a significant improvement in speed and everything else.

If you are looking for a guaranteed increase in performance of your computer with a full lifetime warranty then the popular Ballistix range will certainly do the trick.

Works great

Have been using them for a few months now and have no problems with them. Since they were used in a new machine I have no reference to compare, but I think they are very fast and for the price I paid (promo price of about 34, I think) they are very good value for money. Wouldn't buy them for the actual price though.

Bargain of the Year!
review by: terry alexander rating:
customer rating
operating system: Windows XP

Running 32 bit Windows with a 512Mb graphics card so Windows only showing 3.5 GB of RAM. But still super-quick!

Using this on an "Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe" mobo in Dual Channel Mode at 4-4-4-12 timings and everything rock-solid - Wow!

Memtest86+ v.2.1 showing no errors at all (thankfully). Only one problem - can't boot into the bios whilst both sticks installed, have to take one out first! Think this is ok?

Definately bargain of the moment at 35.99 pounds with free delivery (over 50 pounds)
