AMAZING
Got this board around a 3 weeks back now and so far have been very impressed.
As usual superb ebuyer deliver and service (sort of expected nowadays :)
Board came very well packaged in a huge brown box with a ton of bubble bags to keep it safe in transit
The box the board came in was in two parts, the main box with a carry handle and a VERY nice slide on cover with a lid which reveals all of the nice features and basic specs of the board.
The board box came with a ton of nice goodies including sli connectors (2 and 3x) e-sata back plate - load of sata cables Inc power adapters, dvi to hdmi adapter?! (Not a clue why but still nice) ASUS quick connectors, look them up there ace .as well as driver cds and detailed manuals.
The board itself had its own wee compartment in the box where it was placed in an anti static bag and placed on a foam mat to stop any breakage or damage of back pins.
Now, here's the good bit
MEMPIPES LOOK AMAZING
And actually benefit the temps nicely (dropped another 8 of my ram)
they come separate to the board chipset and require very minor installation ( basically screw 2 sets on youre ram then line it up with the Northbridge chipset and pop in 4 lil screws and your done )
All connectors Inc power are conveniently placed around the outside of the board (very nice for cable freaks like me)
The 6 sata ports face down not up on the board which is great as my last board with my 2 8800gtx used to squash the sata cables and even broke the clip on one, but this is now a thing of the past :)
front panel connectors were a doddle as well thanks the ASUS quick connectors and the Silverstone raven cases pre fixed usb firewire audio ect
AMAZING part 2 :)
after a 15 min installation , ( made even easier by the well placed screw holes ) the board booted up 1st time no problems running on AMD 5000+ be 4gb 1000mhz RAM , 2x 8800gtx's , 4 320 sata drives and booted straight back into my current copy of vista ultimate :)
After the driver update wizard finished "monging" out I went an grabbed all the chipset and relevant audio drivers from the vendors websites and restarted
At which point I thought id be cheeky and try OC straight away
2.66 GHz to 3.2 no volt change first time off
I WAS AMAZED
Moved up from M2N-E sli and can already see a notable performance increase.
Ram auto clocked itself to 1000 MHz as well
Well chuffed :)
Laid down a few benches and cpu burns to get that thermal paste working then got to gaming
But before I did I threw the CPU back down to stock settings
Then ran L4D COD4 and Crysis
On average gained 11 frames in all games just from having this new board: D
Threw the CPU back up to my OC profile (which gets saved in the bios)
Gained 17 frames across the board some (hl2 engine) gained 25 +
All in all brilliant board
Well with the money
Looks stunning
Great features
Great expandability
And good price
Will be writing another review when I get my PhenomII in there and throw down some OC's

operating system:
Windows XPgreat mobo recieved within 18 hrs of ordering ebuyer fantastic service as usual, boot probs at first resolved by using 8 way e atx connector on board & fresh install of xp pro seems to work fine now, will consider updating bios to version 1901 at present 1701 is on, will see how it behaves.

Windows VistaI was looking for an amd board that supported SLI, As it turns out this is the one i bought and i have no regrets. It looks very good has good compatability mine came with bios 1701 so therefore had to be flashed if i was to use a AM3 Processor but instead i bought the phenom 2 940 AM2+ 3Ghz.
This board looks great and the mempipes are a nice extra bonus. Comes with all Necessery Sata cables IDE etc. HDMI to DVI converter Included also.
Love it, Would recommend to all AMD builders.
Phenom 9950 Will not boot at all
If using a Phenom x4 9950 CPU (I believe that all the X4's have this problem), then currently this board will not boot, it just turns on an for about 2-10 seconds and powers off and repeats until you power it off. Some people on various internet forums have stated that leaving it on for 5 minutes or more will allow the board to boot and get into the BIOS but I didn't experience this on my board. To get the board working you will need to upgrade the BIOS.
Mine came with BIOS version 703, and annoyingly would not allow me to get into the BIOS and get to the built in update tool that Phoenix have now included. To perform the upgrade I had to borrow an AMD Athlon X2 AM2 CPU from a friend. This allowed me to get into the BIOS and perform the upgrade from a USB memory stick (very useful as when was the last time you fitted a floppy drive to a PC!!!!!). Once done the board would then boot correctly :)
As soon as this board starts shipping with a more current version of the BIOS it will be a 5 star board.

but like the guy said it will boot just takes time so first thing is to download the bios update
BIOS Version?
I've heard some people having problems with this board with the top-end AMD Phenom X4 chips and the problems occur with Bios revision 901 and earlier.
What BIOS version ships with this MotherBoard
