Windows VistaThis case is so solid and well thought out for custom builders. The back panel coming off to hide cables is perfect. The 2 front fans have cool looking blue lights. The top of the case was built slanted to prevent accidentally blocking the fans by laying a book or the link on top of the case. Love the eSATA, audio, microphone ports on the top front. The screws came in separate baggies and clearly labeled-wow. That's detail! Even rails, cable management ties and stuff came in a nice thick black envelope. I just felt that I was buying quality as I continued my build. The orientation of the power supply area on the bottom is great. I like that especially as it puts the center of gravity lower too once everything is in.The fans were Soooo quiet on this thing.

Windows VistaI just got this case today, and i must say ..... well done nzxt. It came with 4x 120mm , and 2x 140mm fans, filters...lights...big enough to make someones jaw drop too. I was overwhelmed when i saw this case in person.
My brother bought a Antec P182 Gun Metal Black case recieved it , and it was missing some pieces.... i got my Nzxt Tempest and was complete and to me him and ten other people, was better then the Antec P182 (Btw, if u are thinking of buying a Antec 900 DONT!!! , this case is far better. It lets u sleep at night(less lights and sound). Please take my advice. This case will be the next best gaming case in a year or so......

Windows VistaIt is well built, no cheap material, and easy to setup. It is big and roomy, which to me is a good thing because I keep cramming several components in there. I like that it has space for 8 hard-drives. The best feature though is all those fans. The six fans keep the case temperatures really cool and the roominess allows for great airflow. All the fans are 120 mm or higher, which means they make less noise than the smaller fans for the same volume of air displaced. My case in the office with one 80mm fan makes more noise than this one with six of them.
Better than Antec 900
Great airflow, with a solid build. Nice position of the power supply installation.
The main difference between this and the Antec Nine Hundred is it doesn't have as much of a brittle top fan, if you actually look at the Antec reviews. Also the top fans is easier and less expensive to replace than the Antec, since Antec requires a special Antec fan. Every Antec product I have owned has been brittle and broken easily, so I thought I would give this a try.

Windows XPThis case is the 'bomb'. Before I had a tacky computer case, weak steel, boring and plain. This case was a choice between the Coolermaster Rc690, or the NZXT Tempest. I chose the NZXT Tempest because it had more cooling fans. I think I made the right decision.

This case keeps all the components cool, and has actually shifted airflow in my small room, suprisingly making it slightly cooler. The case has room for 8 HDDs (2 HDD Brackets, behind each of the front fans) which is a tooless thing. The CD/DVD slots are also tooless. The back plates, where you add the Graphics cards and add the PCI cards (if any) are not tooless, but are extremely easy to remove.
The Case comes with a manual, screws, and I THINK Washers and Standoffs. I can't remember now because I'm too happy with the PC. It should fit an HD4870, I think.
Overall, this is a great product. I'm Rodney Reyno- no wait, I'm not.

Windows XPHave been building custom pc's for over 10 years now and have dealt with some of the best case brands Antec, Alien ware, etc.. but this case im glad to say rockets past them for a whole lot less aswell! so good that i bought one for my own build.

System Core Temp is 39 under load 44, (my old case with same spec was Core Temp 45 under load 56)
all 7 fans are absolutely quiet and do the job very well, cables everywhere but with this case there are 2 holes in mboard plate and plenty of space along inside runners in chassis so not a problem hiding them away.
If like me you dont need the front audio connectors or the Esata one you can unplug them from the board/top button assembly quite easily, good idea and saves having to hide away unwanted cales.
All comes with labeled bags of screws, brackets, booklet, even mother board screws and fxings, all in a neat black envelope.
Overall 10/10 for build quality, very strong and no sharp edges, hard drive bays (2 of them for upto 8 HDDs!) are removable, even comes with front intake fan filters!
The side window is of very high quality, doesnt scratch easily like some of cheaper game cases and the blue side fan works a treat, very professional looking with a metal filter.
Front panel is very tastefully done aswell, with a mesh, filtered front panel with two fans that glow blue through it along with blue side bars, very nice and not over the top.
Like someone said before, keep your eye on this one as it will become one of the best gaming cases there are, also go to the NZXT website as they have other products that ebuyer will hopefully stock up with.
One more thing, ebuyers service was excellent as allways when the first of these cases came to me with a broken panel. They replaced it straight away, many thanks.

Windows XPmove the bays/fans, moved the upper bay/fan to top, better airflow to CPU.
meant that the 5.25" inch drives were no longer tool free, clips in used spare thumbscrews to secure.
Will seat 4850 S1 & 120mm fan, with window fan installed, clearing the HSF. 900 won't.
Fans running slower than 1500RPM, whisper quiet, & reasonable airflow, but not as much as 900 fans
basic cable management, better than 900
If you get this case
buy filter for window, only has mesh
Make sure your 4+4 pin will reach mobo, or get extension
buy LED fan for rear, or nice looking, & faster RPM
same price as 900
Get this, as it isn't a dust magnet, filters on all front panels, unique side mounting HDD, better airflow

Windows XPthis is case is really good, the air flow is so good its like a mini air conditioner. keeps copenents cool with its 6 included fans. The case is similar to the antec 900 but it looks better with two lines of blue LEDs on the front also the quality is brilliant, i did recieve one with the top fan metal mesh bent so i RMA'd it and this one is all good. IF you dont like to install fans this is the one to go for. + the side window is brilliant. the only con of this is the two blue led fans on the front are not as visible as its on the picture so keep that in mind. Doesnt really matter anyways.
