Good value

Windows XPJust replaced a Celeron D 356 (3.3GHz) with one of these, and my kids have noticed the difference playing games.
The PassMark CPU benchmark score has gone from 465 to 1152. Even with the PassMark 'number of processes' setting set to 1, so it's effectively only using 1 core, the score came out at 625. In other words, each of the new 2GHz cores is about 35% faster (in the benchmark) than the old 3.3GHz core.
note on over clocking
this is just to say but i have got one of these and it overclocks like a loon.
i got 3.5Ghz on a artic cooling freezer 7 pro
7Ghz of power at 40pounds is amazing!!

Windows XPBought this cpu, as part of a rebuild for a PC for someone i know, who only use it for internet browsing. I thought that at 36 quid, a 2GHz dual Core was a steal, and I was so suprised that it was much better than i thought. Coupled with 2GB of OCZ Platinum 800MHz Ram, this cpu eats anything thrown at it, though i haven't tried gaming yet :p
Brilliant value it is, not sure about overclockability, but i'm sure its not too bad.
