1st impressions....
I didn't buy this from ebuyer, i received mine as an insurance replacement.
The first thing that strikes you is how thin this thing is, also the finish is different to the norm... Its kind of 'textured' (for want of a better word) but looks good & makes the laptop less likely to slip out of your grip.
Good sized keyboard with responsive keys add to the overall quality feel here, i guess thats the norm with sony gear though.
The screen is excellent, lots of brightness here & sharp and precise images.
Battery life seems to be two & half hours under moderate use.
The cpu fan is extremely quiet & seems to keep things cool ok - unlike my last lappy which sounded like an industrial vacuum cleaner :)
Vista seems happy enough on here & the nvidia graphics help the windows experience score up to 4.0.... pretty good for a laptop i'd say. (i get 4.6 on my Q6600 quad core desktop system)
250 gig hard drive should be more than enough for anyones laptop & 2 gig of ram helps vista along.
Not had it long so its only a '1st impressions' review, but hopefully some will find it usefull.
So far i'm happy, 5 stars here :)

Windows VistaRecently bought this Sony Vaio laptop from ebuyer so that I could use a PC wirelessly, and as a back-up to the main desktop.
The laptop looks good, the "textured" effect of the casing is different, but you soon get to like it.
The spec is very high considering the price. Less than 500 pounds for dual-core, 250GB HDD, 2GB RAM and Nvidia graphics is great.
The laptop starts quickly, operates quietly an stays cool.
It has taken the (minimal) software I have added and Windows, etc updates seamlessly.
All in all well worth the 5 star rating.

Windows VistaI purchased on of these laptops from e-buyer a few months back no problems yet.
The only thing is the case is really flimsy and feels like its gonna break all the time, hasn't though.
