Great camera, superb service and a competitive price!
I purchased this camera (and a 4Gb Kingston SDHC card) on Sunday afternoon.
I spent a great deal of time looking for the right deal and ebuyer were the best I could find. There were other sites who marginally beat the price but reviews about shipping from overseas and lack of warranty made me buy from a reliable UK company!
I received the usual email saying that my order was confirmed, then another advising that my payment was processed.
I followed the tracking facility which was updated constantly and allowed me to see exactly what was happening with my order. It followed picking of stock through to despatch.
After the goods left the warehouse I followed timed updates within Citylink and the parcel being loaded onto a delivery van, which arrived by 08:30 this morning.
Even more impressive was the 60 hour turnaround on a super saver free delivery!
Well done ebuyer and Citylink.
I had already played with the TZ5 in local stores so I new that the build quality and finish were superb.
After taking lots of shots today in various lighting conditions I have to say its fabulous. I found it hard to take a bad photo. The camera always seems to know the best settings to be on, making it great if you want to catch a top quality shot but don't have the time to go through lots of settings first.
I found it hard to choose between the TZ5 and a Canon Ixus 85 (similar photo quality but smaller size).
I went for the TZ5 mainly because of the 10x optical zoom. It was totally worth the extra weight/size. OK, you can stick the smaller compact cameras in a top shirt pocket, but a 3x optical zoom won't get you anywhere near your subject on a distance shot like the 10x TZ5.
It also features an image stabilizer which greatly reduces movement when you are at maximum zoom letting you take a blur free shot first time.
The TZ5 offers several innovative features that I wasn't aware of when I bought it like an auto adjusting LCD screen which brightens itself to improve visibility outside. It also has a high angle setting allowing you to see the screen clearly when you hold it up high (e.g. over a crowd at a concert).
If you are looking for a simple to use, high quality camera at a reasonable price you couldn't find much better than the TZ5.
Team that up with the service and price of ebuyer you will be a very happy shopper.

I can only comment on the speed an professionalisim of ebuyer for this order as I have not had chance to play with the camera yet. Order late Sunday night and delivered on Wednesday with a free super saver delivery, superb. Everything was packaged well and in perfect condition through City Link. Five stars from me!

Not ApplicableAt first I wasnt that sold on this camera,as it seemed quite heavy and cumbersome: I bought this to replace a lost sony cybershot(which was about half the size and weight of this beast). This is not a problem as the camera still easily fits into trouser pockets, and has taken an absolute battering as a coincidence. It has been dropped, but the laquer on the outside is still in pretty good shape after nearly a year. The battery lasts ages, and it takes better shots most of the time that my dads SLR which cost three times the price... good old leica lens :). It starts up quickly, and the controls are intuitive to use, Once you discover all the presets (even ones for fireworks etc) you cant really be bothered to play anymore!
I cant really say anything bad about this camera, apart from the lens cover gets sticky sometimes, but this may be due to clumsy treatment rather than design fault!
combine it with at least a 2gig card, and you are away, the battery i find lasts for a bout a gig of photos if you are using the flash. ( a bit more without).
I got mine for a shave under 170pounds, but its definitely worth about 200 which seems to be the going price at the moment!

Windows VistaNot much more to add, its virtually impossible to take a bad photo using the ai mode. Quite compact considering its 10x optical.
a couple of niggles for me, microphone is in the wrong place, on top of the camera, you hand naturally goes over it whilst recording. Also if want to view hd video side, you need to buy a special cable currently 30 notes.

Not ApplicableI got this to replace my old camera for 2 main reasons
1) The 10x optical zoom
2) the wide angle lens
Bot of these are fine features, but it's truly is packed with others!
The intelegent auto seems pretty reliable and the number of pre-sets is staggering.
My main complaint was that of videoing, when using auto focus the subject would constantly come in and out of focus. Panasonic have fixed this with Firmware 1.2, so if you have this problem go to their website!
If you want to to record in HD make sure that you get the fastest and biggest card you can. don't simpy trust a cat 6, as I have 2 cat 6 cards - 1 (OCZ) is fast enough the other (Veho) isn't.
1 other minor gripe is that the location of the tripod socket is poor, the camera is not well balanced on a tripod. And the thread is moulded from
plastic, rather than metal.
Otherwise, excellent.
Just remember the firmware..
