Product Reviews
amazing bargain
os:
Windows XPContrary to earlier review, my monitor came with a HAL stand which is fully adjustable. I agree the stand is slightly too short - if it was longer you could rotate the monitor 90 degrees. However I did not expect the monitor to do that in the first place.
Also included in the box were: a DVI lead, a VGA lead, UK and EU power leads.
The monitor looks extremely good on my desk with a nice matt finish. Movies, games etc. all look amazing.
Buttons are fine and only pose a problem when playing in the dark.

Bang for the Buck

Windows VistaGreat monitor..Xcellent for DVD & Video playback.
FPS games a plus..can see darker objects better, contrast is VERY good.
For the money hard to fault.
Display can go up against monitors 2x as much.
Buy it..steal for the price.
Very Nice Monitor

Windows XPGot this Monitor 2 days ago. Screen and outer case in matt black NOT glossy (better for scratch resistance). No dead or stuck pixels.
Construction is high quality and solid, with touch panel controls at the front.
Stand is height, tilt adjustable - also swivels 90 degrees so can be viewed in a vertical position.
Had to download latest Nvidia drivers for my graphics card to get the picture sharp. Now at 1600x1080 looks superb, very crisp and clear.
All in all a very good monitor in deed for the money.
Great monitor for the price....

Not Applicable1, It IS hight adjustable and CAN be rotated 90 degrees. make sure to remove the retaining/transporting pin/clip thingy on the back of the stands upright section. (compress upper section a little to take spring pressure of the pin.
2, Install drivers before plugging the monitor in. (saves mucking about with some mad screen setting while you try to get the drivers in windows).
3, It is bright, VERY BRIGHT!!! if you are going to use it in anything other than a bright room you will have to drop brightness a LOT!!!
4, Quality? Of course, it's a Samsung. NO dead pixels, Very nicely built, shockingly sharp image if your finally making the jump from an old CRT.
5, Ok, the buttons are hard to see in dim lighting, but it is quicker to do it with the included software anyway.
6, buy it,
7, NOW!
Lovely looking but fiddly controls

Windows VistaPros
Great looking monitor
Vibrant colours
Wow factor in gaming
Great price
Cons
The touch sensitive front panel monitor controls (ie menus, brightness etc) are nearly invisible as is the power button.
Stand is not adjustable and a little short for my liking.
