quiet and fast

Windows XPwell I got the HD501LJ a few weeks ago which is the same drive as this except for a few firmware tweeks (ebuyer only sell this one now) and its lovely and quiet and super fast.

Windows Vistagot this HDD for a month now and will say its a fast and a quiet drive, its an OEM so you only get screws with the drive.
they only time can hear the drive is if i open my case and put my ears near it.
top drive for a very good price. recommend it ver much

Windows XPThis is a great Product, bought it about a month ago or so and have had no problems what so ever. Very easy to install, just plugged in the cables and turned pc on. no nead for formatting or partitioning.
Running fast and quiet on Kubuntu Server

LinuxBought this for a HP Proliant ML115 G5 server, running Kubuntu server - easy install (you will need a spare SATA cable though, one is not supplied. Also you will need a spare SATA power line from your PSU). The drive runs fast and very quiet. Ebuyer delivered it within 2 days, even with Supersaver delivery! Another excellent purchase!

Not happy...

Windows VistaHad the drive for not even 3 months then one day several bad blocks were detected and then pretty much all my data (350GB+) was unavailable.
A couple of reboots later and the 'clicks of death' have been heard', it's going back.
That said it was nice and quiet but not as quiet as it is now !
I'd recommend buying two and mirroring them.
