The Dominator Series Twin2X4096-8500C5DF is 4096MBytes of DDR2 SDRAM DIMMs built using Corsair's latest high performance heat sink with Dual-Path Heat Xchange (DHX) technology coupled with a Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan. This memory has been verified to operate at 1066MHz at latencies of 5-5-5-15-2T at 2.1VDIMM. The Twin2X4096-8500C5DF comes with Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP), the open standard for performance module SPD's jointly developed by Corsair and NVIDIA. Nice and cool!!

Windows VistaWorks great on my P5K Premium motherboard together with my QX6800. Installed 64-Bit with 2x 1GBs, then these 2x 2GBs put in after SP1 installed.
Running at 1066MHz dual channel gives me a 5.9 rating in Vista (everything now rated at 5.9), 2.1V.
The airflow fan keeps them cool at 28C. Plenty of room for optional overclocking later.
Buy these and you will not be disappointed!!

Choose your CPU fan carefully !

Windows VistaInstalled these on a newbuild P5Q Pro mobo with Q9400 and freezer 7 pro fan. Could not install memory fans because freezer 7 pro was too close!
Got some BSODs for a while until I upped the RAM voltage from default 1.8v to 2.0v
Now all working fine, freezer 7 pro sucks air over the memory modules anyway.

recognized almost instantly upon first boot-up - initally would only start PC with one stick insterted, but sorted itself out after a bit of fiddling around.
i have Vista x64 installed & all 4,192,380 KB is viewable by the OS.
The RAM voltages may need to be manually set to 2.1v via the motherboard - some users have experienced problems with the auto voltages.
Timings & speed should also be set to manual via the motherboard.
5-5-5-15 &
1066MHz (or something close enough).
RAM works great with my set-up, no problems at all; apart from the light tweaking, but that's to be expected.
FAN just about fits next to my CPU cooler (OCZ Vendetta) - but is nice & quiet inside the case.
Will get a couple more sticks if needed/when the price come down a bit.
