Spectacular Value

Windows XPI found myself printing more and more emails and word documents over the last 6 months and the cost of ink in my old hp inkjet was getting a joke, so I saw this and thought... Samsung not a bad brand and at 45 quid (although I am not rich)its worth a gamble. I am glad I did as (upto now...1 week) it has been fantastic...easy to set up and easy to use...it is very small so sits nicely on my desk which was a bonus. Print is very clear and although I have not timed it I believe it could do 22 ppm.
Its not a Gamble its a great little printer!!

Bit miffed that this didnt come with a USB cable. But cracking little printer though!!

Windows VistaI have never been keen on Samsung products. They always seemed down market. For the price of this printer, I went against my own opinion of Samsung and gave it a go. To my surprise this little printer is really good. It prints clearly and precisely. Not much noise, prints very fast. Its economy mode is brilliant, for most of our printing jobs, this mode has been more than adequate. Overall, I am impressed by this printer and have no regrets in taking a chance on it. Only thing I do not like about it is the power switch. This is placed at the back and is a bit of a reach to turn off and on. This is really only a minor problem which we can live with. All round a good printer for the price.
Samsung ML-2240 ink
Ebuyer do have replacement cartridge QF 149958, currently 2.50 less than complete printer!
Toner cost
Mine has printed over 2000 pages on the starter cartridge and is still going strong so dont be put off by the high toner cost. The price per page is next to nothing
Samsung 2240

Windows XPAn excellent printer with good build quality. Fast copying for use as photo copier and decent printing off the PC.
I got fed up with my Epson with the high cost of a few millilitres of ink. Most or my printing did not warrant colour anyway. With previous printers I was unable to print out a black letter simply because the one of the colours had run out.
The Samsung is excellent for standard printing where mono will do.
Better than the ML-2010r

Max OSXI bought a lot of the ML 2010r's for my customers and was sad to see it go, but it's replacement is better, quieter and faster, I have no problem putting these into my customers. Another great product from Samsung!!
Comes with vista drivers
Came with vista drivers in the box...as well as any other driver you could want (not sure about Linux)
