Very small and excellent

Small portable Samsung HDD with a circuit made by freecom and an external rubber casing.

This HDD is very small in physical size and it saves energy as it only requires one USB connection.

The only negative thing is the short USB wire, but not to worry I have a long one already.

Freecom 320GB XXS Portable Hard Drive

I ordered my Freecom 320GB XXS portable hard drive on Tuesday, delivered on Friday, free super saver delivery.

I wanted the portable hard drive as a way of backing up all the information on my laptop. It only took around 30 seconds to connect to my laptop, it installs itself, very easy. A complete back of of my computer only took 45 minutes, compared with 6-hours when backing up to DVD discs.

It seems very robust but small and lightweight in its rubber cover. Silent in use, no fan, and only got very slightly warm after 1 hours use.

I am very pleased with the product.

If I could wish for an improvement, it would be to include a LED light to make it easier to know when it's working as no on-off switch is fitted.
