Product Description

This right-angle Serial ATA cable from Plexus creates a great internal-CPU connectivity solution using the newest ATA technology. The Serial ATA cables reduces your power consumption, compared to a standard parallel ATA cable, while increasing transfer speed and dramatically enhancing airflow within the CPU. It offers ideal support for high-end, heat generating applications such as gaming, full-motion video and multimedia. By reducing your PC's internal temperature, potential damage to your systems performance and lifespan can be averted.

Check the angle goes the right way
review by: Anonymous operating system: Not Applicable

If the right angle connector is inserted into a SATA drive, the cable will go upwards (i.e. in the direction of the metal cover of the drive). This is fine if the drive bay is below the connection point on the mobo or PCI(-E) card but might not be what you want if the drive is above the mobo. If the direction is right, it's a useful piece of kit.

The angled connector is for the motherboard
review by: Anonymous operating system: Windows 7

To the previous reviewer - the right angled connector is to connect to the motherboard as a common problem on motherboards is having the graphics card(s) overhanging the sata ports.
