Epic
operating system:
Windows Vistathere is backlight bleed at the bottom but its not even noticeable when you have it set up right. That the only bad.
This monitor is truly amazing. (i've worked in TV sales for two years, so I know my shizzle :P)
the build quality is impressive, the stand is perfectly weighted and balanced with soo much movement its fun to play with.
the high res is totally insane (running off a 275gtx OC) everything is so smooth, crisp and lifelike.
Colours are vivid and intense and when viewing the nvidia set up every level of graduation is visible.
The OSD is genius and the touch panel buttons are awesome, no one has mention that the button actually lights up as your finger goes near it, very cool :)

What a brilliant monitor!!
operating system:
Windows VistaI ordered this monitor last Friday...today's Monday and its here.
Its hard to define how impressed I am. This is a fantastic monitor and the picture is excellent.
I have it running at full resolution and the web cam and microphones have posed no problem so far.
If you want quality you need look no further.
Phenominal screen
operating system:
Not ApplicablePutting aside the face that Ebuyer sent me the wrong power cable (which they fixed free of charge of course), what can I say about this monitor?
It's utterly brilliant. The three input's on the back served me exactly what I was looking for, VGA for my 360, HDMI for my PS3 and DVI for the PC input.
The visual quality is fantastic, not a single dead pixel and the colour range is brilliant. I want to note that the "backlight bleed" noted in a few other reviews I saw is only even slightly noticeable when there's black at the bottom/top of the screen, which doesnt happen much thanks to the 16:9 resolution of the monitor.
The gaming setting of the monitor is fantasticly sharp, and 1080p images look fantastic from both inputs (for anyone wondering, yes the monitor accepts 1080p through the VGA). For watching video, which I do a lot through my PC, the monitor is superb. Not only is the colour depth fantastic (putting it next to my old HP, which was no slouch, makes that HP look washed out...) but the resolution being 16:9 lends itself beautifully to widescreen inputs.
On to the non-visual side of the monitor. I've not tried the speakers but I don't expect them to be that good, they're too small really.
The inbuilt webcam is of excellent quality, and the microphone is actually very good as well (not recording artist quality of course but what you'd expect for communication). The USB ports are, well, USB ports, they're useful, 2 on the back, 2 on the side, enough said.
My only quibble with the monitor is that it's so shiny and black that it's a dust magnet, seriously, I'm wiping it constantly, but I can't fault Dell for making the exterior as pretty as the display...
I could ramble on plenty more but the short of it is this monitor is brilliant and you won't regret the purchase.
Works well with 2 computers
operating system:
Windows XPI use two computers with a KVM switch. I feed both to the monitor, and use the monitors' own switching between inputs (i.e. not via the KVM switch) to get the best quality.
This monitor works well in this regard, as you can have 2 computers connected via digital inputs - one via the HDMI, one via the DVI-D, with the appropriate leads.
In my case, one's running Vista, one running XP. Vista just recognised the new highest resolution straight away. GeForce 6200 card, under XP, even with latest nVidia drivers would not give 2048x1152 even created as a custom resolution (ended up with the screen panning).
The solution was a small tool called PowerStrip -- see here.

Now all is well!
Lovely monitor!
operating system:
Windows XPThis monitor lived up to my expectations, I would recommend it to everyone.
I have seen no backlight bleed (as others have mentioned).
My only problem with it so far is that screen is prone to oscillating from slight knocks on the table.
Great bit of kit
operating system:
Windows 7No problems installing
Worth every penny.
