These Monitors are 1080 HD!
From what i've come to learn:
Many montiors can achieve 720 HD resolution. Monitors have to have high resolutions becuase text needs to be readable. A montior @ 1024x768 is (768 is above 720) 720HD.
The Samsung SM2333SW 23" has a native resolution @ 1920x1080 so that is 1080HD which very few current montiors can achieve.
Also not mentioned in the description is that SM2333SW 23" are HDCP compliant (google it) meaning they are future proof from encrypted Blu-ray etc. basically.
I have ordered two of these on pre-order and it said they are forecast for being in stock within 14 to 16 days.

Windows Vistathis is a fantastic monitor, at a great price. opted for free delivery but came next day, great service ebuyer. i am using this monitor with my xbox360 plugged in the vga and my pc in the dvi. just set up in the menu to manually switch between digital and analogue input, so no need to keep changing the cable round on the back anymore.
this monitor comes supplied with a vga cable and a dvi cable. 3 years warranty.
full hd what more could you want.

Windows VistaThis monitor is amazing!! The quality of the display is superb! Everything is sharp and crystal clear!
And it looks great too - very shiny and sleek.
Only downside is the mounting part - for the life of me I could not get the monitor onto the stand. I followed the instructions but it would not budge. In the end I took a very small amount of washing up liquid and smudged it around the rubber part in the hole in the monitor and the stand slipped right in:-D
Finally!

MacFinally arrived (paid extra for saturday delivery but some wally at parcelforce sent it 200 miles in the wrong direction!). Was surprized as to what came in the box:
- 1x dvi cable
- 1x vga cable
- 1x UK power cable
- 1x European power cable
The stands a little tight to get in but it wasn't as hard as people have made out. Basically line up the little up arrow with the FRONT of the screen, and (standing) push down on the screen whilst wiggling it about (forward/backwards).
Overall very happy. Great quality picture.
Only problem I've personally got is its hight. Next to a 24" iMac its approx 4-5 inches shorter...may wish to put something underneath it to get it to the same height if your an iMac user.

Windows VistaThis is an excellent monitor. Samsung make their own LCDs along with Sony and it shows - two best brands you can buy. Samsung are better value though. I got this monitor to complement my new build and I am very, very impressed. It's very bright, very rich and sharp, and good value. The only gripe is that mounting it on its stand was really tough, I had to really force the monitor into the base, it took all my strength and I'm quite a big strong guy. Might be the exception rather than the rule though. At least it isn't loose!

Windows Vistaordered this sunday night at midnight on 5 day super saver it came 8 am tues quick as i like as already said stand is hard to locate but that is the only prob no dead pixels bright and clear picture and my pc only supports vga so i was a bit worried about quality i neede'nt have been its the best i've ever had top marks for this samsung and ebuyer alike thank you

Windows VistaAbsolutely fantastic screen this is, i bought this to replace my 24 inch acer that failed on me 2 weeks after the warranty run out, the picture quality of this screen is outstanding, beautiful colours with perfect contrast or at least i think so, very pleased with this and i expect most other would be buyers to be impressed also...

Windows VistaWent with Samsung again after being very happy with my previous 17" 4x3 TFT Syncmaster. Really happy with this monitor and amazingly it cost a lot less than the 17" did a few years ago. The only two downsides are:
1) Not height adjustable
2) I wasn't able to get the full 1920x1080 resolution using vga (from my samsung laptop). Not sure if this is just down to the graphics on the laptop or a combination but is something to watch out for. I had to buy a DVI-HDMI lead to get the full res (the laptop has an HDMI out). Now I have it though everything looks beautiful.
If you only have a vga output on your machine (that's the blue D shaped one if you're not sure) then do your homework before ordering!
my first LCD, and i'm not dissapointed :)

Windows XPpreviously had 2x 19" iiyama crt's, which had served me well for a 5 years, but finally decided it was time to come into the 21st century (also i was pretty short on desk space!)
was put off lcd's when i first saw them years back as the high price & ghosting effects some models exhibited meant they'd be bad for gaming. however it seems the technology has matured & i was pleasantly suprised when i saw that they had finally dropped the astronomical prices & become affordable.
it looks so attractive, almost a work of art. saves me tons of space & the picture quality is perfect, brightness was insanely high, but that was easily resoled by setting it down to half :) no dead pixels, no ghosting with games, no noticable pixelation of objects in movies or games, everything is very sharp & clear. disappointed i only ordered one, will be ordering another next week, replace my last remaining crt.
only minor niggle is the stand... it's hell to get into place, but once it's in, it's very secure & sturdy. just persist for 5-10 minutes & it will eventually go into the socket.
even with the irritating stand fitting, still a 5, as it more than makes up for the 5 minutes of irritation once u get it plugged in & switched on.
