OtherI spent a lot of time trying to work out the best price/performance quad core I could find that had virtual extensions. Running this on Windows 7 x64 and getting great benchmark results with Sandra, 3Dmark and Performance Test. XP mode works really well too for those older apps. Runs at 40C most of the time with stock cooler. All-in-all, can't get better for the money.

Windows XPI bought it as part of a new computer which I put together last week. I must say the processing power is quiet good because I do play many of the latest games, but the fan comes with this cpu is very loud so make sure you buy a good quality low noise fan

Hi eveyone. I have at the moment a unit of the following;
Asus P5N32 Sli 1333 fsb Mother Board.
4 Gb OCZ mem @ 800mhz
E6600 processor @ 2.4mhz 1066 fsb.
Zalman fan.
Antec 900 case
600w I green psu
Nvidea 9600gt 1gb
Question is, I have considered putting in 1150 MHz mem, 4 gb in total @ £ 100 also a Quad 2.5 MHz at 1333fsb? Now could I push the processor further? My mthr boards fsb is already at 1333 fsb.
