this cable will be fine, if u hav a problem with it out of the box then its probably ure two PC's (or two hubs) messing about.

operating system:Windows XPThe price seams surprisingly cheap when you first see (ex. VAT), but when you see overall price including VAT and shipping you decide itis not that surprising at all. However it is a cheapest solution for 2 PC ethernet. Quality is great. Delivery takes a bit time. But later you conclude its worth waiting...

operating system:Not ApplicableIf you, like me, go around connecting bedroom PCs to wireless routers in the lounge, and you get stuck finding the right key, you'll need a nice long cable to run down the stairs so you can hard-wire it first to find it. This is it! Choose a cross-wired cable, so you can also use it to connect two PCs hublessly (routers will auto re-cross it back).

it there any cross over cable out there that it compatible with gigabit lan not just 10-100mbps network cards??????? if not can someone plz explain why?
