USB Extension Cable

this seems a very good product.

it came coiled up in a plastic bag with two cable ties. the coil is pretty solid and when unravelled, it keeps its origional coil shape. the cable is certainly long enough for most reasons i can think of. i used it so i didnt have to go behind my case every time i wanted to plug my usb flash drive. the cable itself is a very dark grey and very tough. although the female end is quite exposed, and could be bent by someone walking on it. there is a small label attached to the cable which reads:

caution - do not exceed ten feet of total cable distance on low-speed devices, sixteen feet on high speed devices.

the connectors are just bog-standard silver contacts nothing special. seems to work fine on most devices, havent noticed slow speeds or anything.

Works perfect and is as fast as the computer. The ends are solid enough to be dropped but i wouldn't advise it. As said in a past review the female end is a little bendy but wont break without intension.

Good Quality Cable

A nice heavy weight cable that is suprisingly flexible. The female end of the cable is quite exposed, but I have not found this to be a problem.

Typical Belkin Quality for a low price!

For £1.41 you cannot go wrong with this cable.
The other reviews do it justice. I am using one of these to extend my saitek keyboard and it works perfectly. These are really a bargain. Its worth buying some extras like I did at this price. :-)

No problems giving 5 stars.

3m extension - works as promised.

I used it to extend my wireless USB adapter to place it in a more suitable position.

Not USB 2.0 compatible

I bought this cable to allow me to plug in my memory stick without having to go to the back of my PC. While it seems like an excellently constructed cable, it is not USB 2.0. It works but at a reduced speed. Given that the listing does not claim that it is high speed, I suppose that I should not complain.

Does not work with USB powered HUB

Does not work with USB powered HUB.

I bought this extension cable so I could connect all my USB devices into a USB2 hub to hide them away under the table and then extend the HUB cable to the laptop. This would leave only one cable visible on the desk.

However the cable didn't work when connected to the USB2 hub. I tried the extension cable on its own connected to a USB2 external hard drive and worked ok. Hence its not a faulty cable or USB1.1 cable only.

Good quality cable but disappointed it didn't work with USB hub.
