EBUYER 512 SDRAM

Read all the reviews before buying. It looked like a 50/50 chance but at £32.99 +p&p it was a chance worth taking. As it was an upgrade not a new build time was not an issue. It looks like I am one of the lucky ones, put it in slot 2 of 3 available (128 in slot 1) it worked first time no problem. I have a Soltek SL-75KAV/-75 main board if it helps anyone else. At the price its worth the chance if you have the time to keep returning it till you get one that works my working one was the first to come.

Used with a PC Chips M787CLM Motherboard With GigaPro CPU - Audio - Video - LAN & AMR Modem Onboard - it works just fine. Bought with some trepidation in view of other reviews, but no problems with this board.

No problems here

Despite the mixed reviews I thought I would give the memory a try, at £35 per strip I thought it was worth the risk. So far the memory has worked fine, booted first time and showed the right value.

My 3 year old HP computer as an ASUS A7V-VM motherboard with an Athlon 1.4Mhz processor.

Hope this helps.

I went a bit mad on upgrading my computer, mainly so i could play games like GTA3 easier, i bought one of these to go with a 128Mb chip, worked fine, Then bought another to bring it upto a Gb of RAM, runs perfectly, no probs atall.

I am quite happpily playing high Graphic demanding games with ease now (XP 1800+, Geforce4 TI4200, 1Gb RAM...)

very happy person. recommend it.

I have bought the mentioned 512mb pc133 sdram as well as 256mb sticks from Ebuyer and after several months can report no problems whatsoever - and the expected gains in performance. Satisfied customer, and would buy this same RAM again.

Works in AOpen AX34

This memory works well in an AOpen AX34 mobo. Runs in DIMM slot 1 on its own or with two 128M DIMMs in slots 2 and 3( these DIMMs are PC100). Mobo running with a 1Gig Celeron.

Knowing your Onions
review by: Anonymous os: Not Applicable

Had a look at the reviews of this product before buying and the majority were negative. I knew my board was capable of supporting PC133 so I ordered a set up.

Got the memory today and it was fine. You may read this and think because it worked ok for me I think its great! If you know what your talking about or your vendors support docs say that your board will support PC133 then you should be confident in your purchase.

I rate this as a five based on value for money

Regards

Manufactured by Ronseal..

It it isn't then it should be! (Does exactly what it says on the tin!)

I've just plugged it in now and works a treat in my A-Bit KT7A-RAID motherboard..

My system was in dire need of more RAM, so I looked round the usual suppliers. Ebuyer was by far the cheapest around, but the reviews did worry me slightly. So I checked out the local computer fair, only to find memory more expensive there.. So I ordered the DIMM from ebuyer after reading their returns policy just incase! Knowing that I could always opt for a DIMM by Crucial, albeit at twice the price..

The DIMM is 'manufactured' by : ATA and is labeled up with a 'Lifetime Warranty' sticker. :S

The gamble paid of for me, in fact i may a order second, next payday!

One word of caution: Do check that your motherboard can support 512MB PC133 DIMMs
